Best Time to Visit Tianjin

The best time to travel in Tianjin is in spring and autumn, especially the late March to May, and September to mid-October.

Tianjin has a warm temperate semi-humid continental climate. Generally, July has the highest temperature with above 26 ℃; while January has the minimum temperature at -4 ℃ less. Spring and autumn is quite cool and comfortable with mild climate. They are great seasons to have a tour in Tianjin, but these two seasons are very short. Summer in Tianjin is hot and rainy; in winter the weather could be dry and cold, is not the best tourist season.

Travel to Tianjin in Spring

Travel to Tianjin in Summer

Summer (June to August) is considered peak season, when hotels typically raise their rates and the Great Wall groans under the weight of marching tourists.

Note: Visitors can wear light clothing in spring and autumn traveling in Tianjin, such as jackets, sweaters, suits, etc.. Summer is hot here, and you can wear short clothes. One must carry a jacket or winter cotton coat to prepare for cold outdoor use in the cold winter.
