Tips for Qingdao Weather

Best time to visit Qingdao:
Generally the golden travel period is from the end of March to early November. The last ten days of August are the best times for seaside travelling due to the mild seawater temperature.

What to pack
Before travelling to Qingdao, you should prepare some long sleeved clothes that are easy to dry because the air is wet and the weather is cool. For the convenience of splashing about in seawater, bathing suits and shorts are also advised.

You should bring two kinds of shoes --- sports shoes for the convenience of climbing the mountain or for hiking, and waterproof flat shoes.

Tourists who like swimming are advised to take warm clothes to be used at the beach in the evenings when the weather becomes cool.

The Summer in Qingdao is cool; we still advise you to bring sun blocks, sunglasses, sun hats and sunshades to avoid sunburn while playing on the beach.
