Tram Ride
Tram riding to the Victoria Peak is the best way to enjoy the magnificent night view. Get on the peak tram at the station in Garden Road in Central. It takes only 7 minutes to the top by tram riding. Remember to sit at the right side to have a better view. The peak tram serves for Hong Kong before 1888. It witnesses Hong Kong’s changes in the past 120 years. Tourists could know the history of the Peak Tram and Hong Kong at the Peak Tram History Museum.
Ticket Purchasing Guide
Payment Methods: Tickets can be pre-purchased on the Peak Tram official website. The online ticketing platform supports English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, and payment is accepted via designated credit cards. Tickets can also be purchased at the Peak Tram Station with cash, e-wallets, or Octopus cards. Using an Octopus card for direct access is the most convenient option. After taking the cable car uphill, using the same Octopus card will automatically calculate your package or round-trip discount when purchasing a Sky Terrace 428 admission ticket and a cable car ride downhill.
Price Information: One-way tickets are HK$61.50 for adults, and round-trip tickets are HK$88 for adults. You can also purchase a package that includes the Sky Terrace or Madame Tussauds, with prices varying depending on the package.
Peak Tower
The Peak Tower is designed as a special bowel-shape, where tourists could have bird-eye view of Hong Kong, do shopping and taste all kinds of Hong Kong cuisine. The Sky Terrace is on the top of the Peak Tower, which is the best place to overlook the view of Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Lugard Road
Tourists could choose to walk down the mountain. Start from Lugard Road, you will reach the viewpoint of lugard Road after 20 minutes walking, where tourists could see the majestic view of the modern city and harbor. You could find some boards with the introduction of geological feature, climate, vegetation, insects, ect in this area. Keep walking, you will meet a crossing, there are two directions. If you choose Harlech Road, you will back to the Peak Square, where you need to take bus or peak tram back to the Central. If you choose the other road, you will reach University Road, from which you nned to take Bus No 13 back to the downtown. There are four footpaths on the top respectively to Mt. Austin Amusement Park, Peak Park, Harlech Road around the mountain and Pok Fu Lam Country Park.

You can get on Bus No. 15 or X15 at the Central Ferry Pier 5 (the first bus at 10:15) or at the Exchange Square (MTR Central Station Exit A/MTR Hong Kong Station Exit B1), and get off at the Peak Galleria Bus Terminus. The fare of Bus No. 15 is HK$9.80, and that of Bus No. X15 is HK$12.40 for adults and half price for children or seniors.
By Taxi:
You can show the driver "Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus" and ask the driver to take you to the Peak Tram Lower Terminus, and then take the peak tram to the peak. Or you can directly ask the driver to take you to Victoria Peak, but the cost will be relatively high.
On Foot:
You can walk along Austin Road to the Peak Garden, which takes about 20 minutes, and then reach the top of Victoria Peak. This is a popular hiking route, but the road is narrow and there are many blind bends, so you need to pay attention to safety.
The Peak Lookout
Established in 1947, it's a historic Hong Kong landmark. Located at 121 Peak Road, the restaurant boasts quaint interiors and a spacious outdoor terrace with stunning views of the South China Sea skyline. The menu offers a mix of Asian and Western favorites, including Hainanese chicken, Thai fried rice, sirloin steak, and roast duck in red curry. A children's menu is also available.

Located at Shop G01, G/F, The Peak Galleria, 118 The Peak Road, The Peak, Rajasthan Rifles serves Anglo-Indian dishes such as curry, slow-cooked lamb with boiled eggs and keema anda pau, club sandwiches, butter chicken, etc. Its specialty is lamb curry and rice. The restaurant is also pet-friendly.
BUBBA GUMP
It is a large American chain restaurant located at Shop 304-305, 3/F, The Peak Tower, 128 The Peak Road. It mainly serves shrimp dishes, but also has burgers, steaks, fish and chips and other dishes. There are many elements of "Forrest Gump" in the restaurant. Some window seats overlook Victoria Harbour. It is recommended to book in advance.
