Yulong River(遇龙河), also known as Dragon Meeting River, is one of the most famous rivers in Guilin. Yulong River is one of the landmarks of Yangshuo in Guilin. As the longest branch of Li River(漓江), Yulong River is famous for its picturesque scenery along the river with the rolling mountains of karst landform.
The best time to visit Yulong River is April to September with rich water and beautiful scenery. And there are several ancient bridges along the Yulong River like Yulong Bridge and Fuli Bridge(富里桥), where you can take some while to see. Xianggong Mountain is located in Xingping town, about 28 kilometers from Yangshuo and 57 kilometers from Guilin. Xianggong Mountain is one of the best places to have a panoramic view of Li River and landscapes alongside the river. It attracts many photography lovers every year to catch the sunrise, sunset, sea of clouds and sunset glow. Standing on the viewing platform of Xianggong Mountain, you can see the cruises and boats on the Li River.

Moon Hill is located in the Ten-Mile Gallery Scenic Area of Yangshuo, Guilin. It is one of the most iconic natural landmarks Yangshuo. It's famous for the large, crescent-shaped hole that runs through the middle of the hill, which looks like a giant moon, hence the name. The Moon Hill stands at 380 meters(1,247 feet) above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding karst mountains and the Li River.
You can choose to hike up to the top of Moon Hill or view the hill in the distance. At the top of the Moon Hill, you can have a panoramic view of the mountains, river and the buildings of the locals. It’s a popular spot for tourists, but also for local rock climbers.
Xingping is a picturesque ancient town in Guilin with a history over 1,700 years. Xingping Ancient Town is located in the northeast of Yangshuo County, Guilin. Walking into Xingping Ancient Town, you will see ancient streets, ancient bridges, ancient pavilions, ancient temples, ancient villages, ancient trees, ancient stage, ancient residential groups, etc.
If you stop at Xingping Pier by cruise, you can reach Xingping Ancient Street after over ten minutes’ walk. It is a stone road about a kilometer long. The ancient streets are telling their stories.
At Xingping Ancient Town, you can enjoy the wonderful scenery of the Yellow Cloth Shoal, which is one of the highlights of Li River. Climbing the Xianggong Mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the mountains and villages alongside the Li River. The fishing village at Xingping Ancient Town had been visited by the President.
