Today, enjoy a cultural tour begin with the visit to Mogao Grottoes-- one of three noted grottoes in China for its fabulous frescos and statues. The site is considered the great treasure house of Buddhist arts in existence. Then, continue your trip to Crescent Spring and Singing Sand Dune. Singing Sand Dune (Mingsha Hill)  is piled up with sand in five colors of red, yellow, green, black and white. The so-called singing sand does not sing by itself, but creates singing sound when people tread or slide on the surface of the sand, which is a kind of miracle of the nature. Crescent Spring is at the northern foot of the Mingsha Hill and is 118 meters from east to west and 25 meters from south to north. The water is fove meters deep. The crescent-like lake is surrounded by the sand but never buried by it. The water in the lake is very clear all year around.

Our family of four just completed a 8 day tour with TCT. Janet helped organize a fantastic itinerary that was flexible and accommodating for our 75 year old mother. We loved the cable car up to the Great wall and Xi'an City wall. Yuyuan Gardens, the trip up the Pearl Tower and all the temples were breathtaking sites. The Capital Hotel in Beijing and Ramada Hotel in Xi'an were very good and the breakfasts diverse and tasty. Every lunch was an taste adventure and we loved the Beijing peking Duck dinner. The guides were very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our guide, Summer, in Xi'an very much. Thank you for an extremely enjoyable and memorable tour! Outstanding!!!

We were met at the airport by Christina Xiena from TCT at Xi'an train station. She was curtious and extremely knowledgeable. She started telling us the history of our scheduled itinerary in the car on the way to the hotel. That inspired and excited us for our upcoming visit to Xi'an. She was enthusiastic, energetic and protective. The hotel was great too. She took us to the Terracotta Army excavations, the Huashan Mountain, Thai Chi demonstration on the Wall of the City, calligraphy at the TangBo Museum, arranged our massages at her local salon (amazing!), Muslem area trip, pearl factory, lots of food and shopping. She was so willing to accommodate our every whim. She put me and my friend on the plane to Shanghai and helped us get our extra luggage on the plane using contacts from her travel company. In Shanghai we were met by Vicky. Another great guide. She knew how to get us around the city and most certainly spoke very good English. She took us to the Silk factory, Bottle opener building (Shanghai financial center) , Water city (unexpected add-on to the tour), Buddhist temple, plenty shopping and food. The hotel was great again. We recommend this travel company. You will never be disappointed. You can trust them from all angles.

My wife and I planned our two-week tour of China with Maggie of TCT to include Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xi'an and Beijing. We found her to be incredibly prompt and helpful in responding to our emails and flexible in altering the preliminary itinerary to meet our needs. TCT's guides in each of the cities were competent, personable young professionals, well-informed and able to make every day an exciting and knowledge-quenching experience. Again, they were also flexible, caring and responsive to our needs. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and compliment Maggie and TCT on their outstanding customer service and program quality.

My teenage daughter and I had the most wonderful experience visiting China for 15 days during the month of June. It was our first trip to China and it was absolutely one of the best trips that we have ever done! We visited Shanghai-Beijing-Xian-Guilin-Yangshuo and also the Longji Rice Terraced Fields and a couple of small towns to experience the everyday chinese life. This was a private tour, so we had a few requests when it came to hotels and other choices and what made this tour SIMPLY PERFECT was the help of Joyce from TCT -A wonderful, extremely professional tour coordinator, Joyce was in permanent contact with us regarding every matter of our tour, also providing us with train and flight information, options of tours and giving us the absolutely best suggestions when it came to choose our itinerary and even if for personal reasons we had to completely change the itinerary at the last minute, she was really accommodating and helpful. Her customer service was impeccable and her willingness to help had no limits! Once we arrived there,we never felt alone as all tours guides were just wonderful (Johnny, Linda, and Annie are simply the best!!), they were always on time waiting for us on our arrival at the train station or airport, always on time to pick us up at the hotels, always willing to answer questions and giving us the best suggestions in each of the cities we visited. Not only they provide us with tour explanations, history and interesting facts of each of the places we visited, what we really appreciated is that all the tour guides helped us during our check in at the hotels and stayed with us during our departure from each of the cities, at the train station and airports, which made us feel really safe and cared for. On a scale of 1 to 10 if I have to rate TCT I will definitely give them a perfect 10!! This was a very special trip for me and my daughter and TCT made this the absolutely perfect experience. I will have not one bit of a doubt to recommend them and to use them again on a future trip to China!

It has been a wonderful private tour with TCT visiting Hong Kong, Guilin, Yangshuo, Xian, Bejing. We were promptly received at every airport and train station and warmly welcomed by all of the tour guides and also brought to our departure flights and trains always on time with warm and friendly smiles. This team (Billy, Summer, Eric) is very responsible which is very comforting for a traveller. Billy (Guilin/Yangshuo), Summer (Xian) and Eric (Bejing) are very knowledgeable about these cities and towns, and, easily provide the historical and traditional context of things which provided us deep understanding and clarity to our perspectives. We really enjoyed the Four Lakes cruise (Guilin), dinner in Yangshuo West Street, the performance impressions of Liu Sanjie (Yangshuo), Imperial show and Dumpling Banquet (Xian), dinner in the Houhai lake (Bejing), Peking Roast Duck at Quanjude Restaurant. At every location where we ate this team (Billy, Summer, Eric) ensured that our food preferences were taken care of even when it meant some last minute changes to the menu. Great flexibility. Strongly recommend these apart from visiting all the cultural and historical sites. Outstanding planning by Bonnie and immaculate execution by Billy, Summer, Eric made this a wonderful and memorable trip. Thank you guys and girls of TCT.

The 8 of us just returned from an amazing trip to Beijing, Xi’an, Lhasa, Chengdu and Shanghai. I must admit we were a bit nervous, organizing the trip from afar. However Lily Li from TCT was in constant communication with me, answering all my queries with professionalism. We had exceptional tour guides and drivers all the way. The service ran like clockwork yet allowed flexibility in what we wanted. We are thrilled with our experience and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who are looking for small group tour, flexibility and good value for money. Thank you Lily from TCT.

I used TCT to book a tailor-made 5 day tour of Yunnan for a small family group consisting of two couples of 60+ and 3 in their 30s. In the planning stage- conducted by email - their local rep Daniel Mo was extremely professional, helpful and very prompt in his replies. In the event, all the arrangements worked very smoothly. All three guides we encountered were also very professional, attentive and very supportive. We were in Yunnan for a wedding and added this short tour at the end of our trip. Time was limited so we could only see a bit of Kunming and then a few days in Lijiang but this in addition to the 5 days we spent down near the border with Myanmar made us fall in love with Yunnan. Lijiang in particular is a joy. Do go to the Impressions show as well as Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

We have just returned from a very satisfying trip to China. One of the highlights was the lovely city of Guilin. We had no idea that this would be such a pleasant spot in which to stroll around and enjoy the bridges and walkways. The temperature was comfortable and we felt at home walking around the park, footbridges, and along the lakes. Helen and Jim from Canada

Thank you Top China Travel for a fabulous visit to your wonderful country.
I was apprehensive about visiting China, but thoroughly enjoyed our travels if this beautiful country.
What made the trip was having a guide in 4 of the 5 cities we visited.
Our guides meet us at the airport, took us to our accommodation, picked us up for our daily activities, returned us back to our accommodation and made invaluable recommendations for our evenings. Then made sure we not only got back to the airports, but ensured we had the right terminals, flights and saw is right through to customs.
Having a guide made sure we went to the best sights, at the best times to avoid the queues, getting tickets in advance, making sure we got the best photo opportunities in the best places. And all with informative information about sights and history.
If we had tried to see what we saw on our own, we would have missed so much and spent a long time trying to find it all.
Thank you to Jeremy in Guilin. It was great to get out into the country side and see the hard working farmers tendering their crops, and witness up close the celebration of families remembering their departed families.
To Linda in Beijing. Your warm manner as you taught us about the history of your country, and accepting the challenges of walking the steepest section of the wall with us. Thank you.
Olivia in Xian, the Terra Cotta soldiers was awesome and your making sure we went to government stores so we we're not ripped off, when we brought a soldier and tea.
And Summer in Zhangjiajie, the glass bridge, the glass pathway on the side of the stairway to heaven and your lovely singing. Thank-you for a wonderful tour.
Our guides made our visit to China, a wonderful holiday, thank you all. We wish you well for your futures.
Kind regards from Leah, Angus, Cameron, Maree and Todd

I wasn’t told about pick up time until very late the night before (and I had to contact them about it). They did upgrade us from a group tour to a private one though, which was nice. Our driver and guide were the same person. He picked us up from our hotel in the morning and drove us to the place where we boarded the cruise. He got our tickets for us and told us he’d be waiting for us when the ship docked at Yangshuo. The cruise itself was very nice. It was 4 hours and included a boxed lunch (the food was actually pretty good). The views were great and it was nice to be able to alternate between being outside on the deck and inside. The only bad thing about the cruise is that all the announcements about what we were passing were all in Chinese. When we docked, we met our guide and he took us to West St (really cool), Ten-Mile Gallery, and we went bamboo rafting on Yulong River (this was awesome and I highly recommend this)! At the end of the day, he dropped us off at Chongshan at our request (we had asked him for a recommendation for a place with good Guilin rice noodles and apparently Chongshan is known for that). We liked that our guide/driver took great photos for us throughout the day. However, we were disappointed that we felt a bit rushed. We also felt that he was trying to sell us side trips, which bothered us a little. Also, when we were driving back to Guilin someone hit the car from behind (it wasn’t our driver’s fault) and I hit my head pretty hard yet he didn’t ask us if we were okay.

I highly recommend Top China Travel (TCT) in particular Janet Chan for her excellent professional services in organising our recent tour in China. My wife and I did not want a group tour because we wanted greater flexibility so Janet put together a tour that took in all the major sight seeing cities. It was very well organised, the accommodation was great e.g. excellent locations, English speaking and delicious buffet breakfasts and close to all the major sights that will leave us with lasting memories. Her choice of guides was very good, they also spoke excellent English and had good personalities and were all very knowledgeable, the drivers were also very good and drove safely. In summary we believe that TCT provided a quality value added service and would recommend TCT to anyone looking for a reliable Chinese agency for organising their travels.
