The site is considered the great treasure house of Buddhist arts in existence. Then, continue your trip to Crescent Spring and Singing Sand Dune. Singing Sand Dune (Mingsha Hill)  is piled up with sand in five colors of red, yellow, green, black and white. The so-called singing sand does not sing by itself, but creates singing sound when people tread or slide on the surface of the sand, which is a kind of miracle of the nature. Crescent Spring is at the northern foot of the Mingsha Hill and is 118 meters from east to west and 25 meters from south to north. The water is fove meters deep. The crescent-like lake is surrounded by the sand but never buried by it. The water in the lake is very clear all year around.

Gulin is a magical place, words are not enough to describe the beauty of it. Also, our trip to China was wonderful. Bonnie Luo organized an 11 day Tour and it exceeded our expectations. Our tour was organised by Janet Chan, whom I would highly recommend to anyone planning a holiday in China. The original itinerary was set some 5 months in advance and involved 12 different guides and drivers, 10 hotels and a cruise on the Yangtze. As could be expected, a number of issues arose in the subsequent period prior to our departure including areas being affected by earthquakes (requiring a change of itinerary) and specific flights being cancelled. None of these caused us any concern as Janet dealt with them in the background and emailed us the changes as we moved around the country. The ability and attitude of the chosen guides and drivers varied from location to location, however, none were unsatisfactory and a significant number were excellent. Despite there being three train trips and six flights, the designated TCT guide was always there to meet us on our arrival, which after 3 weeks across a broad itinerary was a great comfort. Most of the guides displayed a high degree of flexibility and were able to vary the program under their control to ensure that we covered all of the items and attractions that we had on our itinerary. In some cases this involved changing the daily schedule completely to ensure that we covered everything that we wanted to see. On a general note, TCT and Janet Chan in particular took great care of us despite some unplanned changes to our itinerary. An earthquake in western china altered our plans somewhat and she stepped up and organised on short notice another part of China to see. Cancelled flights and delayed flights were taken in stride and train trips organised so nothing was missed off our bucket list. Because of her organisation with the local guides and drivers we were never left stranded and she was always willing to be on call if there were any problems. She was very willing to hear our feedback and met with us once personally on our trip to talk face to face about our experiences. I would without reservation recommend TCT and our agent Janet Chan to anyone travelling to China in the near future. Happy travels!

We recently did a 14 day tour of China organised by Top China Travel. The trip was organised at the last minute as a result of a previous tour with another company being cancelled. There were four of us, all over 65, who travelled together. We were extremely impressed with the tour. It was well organised, well presented and communication was very effective throughout. Much of the tour’s success can be attributed to the enthusiasm, professionalism and good communication of Rebecca Wei our contact at Top China Travel. Rebecca’s knowledge of travel options and matching our needs to the arrangements was extremely valuable. Our tour involved Beijing-Xi'an-Guilin-Chongqing-Yangtze River Cruise-Yichang-Shanghai. Our tour guide for 4 days in Beijing was Quee Na, ably supported by our driver Mr I. They both went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, exciting and educational. We really appreciated their smiling welcoming faces and safe, punctual and flexible tours. Quee Na’s knowledge of the Beijing area was outstanding providing us with plenty of great advice for eating places, shopping etc. The visits to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall and the Summer Palace were all highlights. At the Great Wall we travelled up the hill on the chairlift walked 4 towers up and back and then 2 of us took the toboggan down- great fun at our age. We stayed at the Sunworld Hotel Beijing which is in a great location close Tiananmen Square and Shopping and clean comfortable rooms. Quee Na’s insight into the local area was very helpful. We travelled to Xian by fast train, averaging approx. 295 kms per hour. Very comfortable and smooth ride. On the train it is difficult to get your luggage close to you if you have large cases but Quee Na was able to find us a safe place to store. We stayed at Grand Noble Hotel Xi'an, once again well located and clean and comfortable. We did all the usual tourist things in Xian but one of the highlights was doing tai chi on the City Wall with a professional Tai Chi Master. We then travelled to Guilin by plane. Our tour guide in Guilin was Ann, who is outstanding. She has incredible energy levels, great knowledge of the local area and China as a whole and was great at tailoring activities to our needs. She was ably supported by our driver Mr Wong. We really enjoyed Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area (Dragon's Back), including a cable car ride. These terraces are built into the hillsides. We also went Li River Cruise (about 4 hours from Guilin to Yangshuo. Impressive scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. We stayed in Yangshuo for dinner to enable us to see The Show of Impression Liusanjie. This was organised by Ann and is highly recommended as an optional activity in Yangshuo. We stayed at Lijiang Waterfall Hotel. Once again a great location and providing 5 star rooms and service. While in Guilin we had an opportunity to meet Rebecca Wei who is based there who made us feel very welcome and double-checked to make sure all our needs were being met. We then travelled by fast train from Guilin to Chongqing. Ann made sure we were well organised and punctual for the train and sent us off with a huge smile. The Yangtze River cruise boat departs from Chongqing. We were on the President No.7 ship which holds up to 500 passengers; approximately 80% were Chinese with the rest quite a mix from around the world. The River Cruises in China are a little different to Europe, pithed more at economy class but the ship was clean, service was good, food was fine and the scenery through the 3 gorges awesome. We didn’t do the optional tours as we needed a couple of hours free to rest up after such a hectic time to date. The three gorges dam tour at the end was extremely interesting We flew from Yichang to Shanghai. Our base was the Sunrise on the Bund hotel. Probably the best hotel overall on the tour. Our guide in Shanghai was Leo. He is energetic, passionate and we all quickly became friends. Our driver was Mr Wong who beyond expectations to ensure our travels were safe and enjoyable, including making sure we got to the airport in plenty of time for our flight. Overall a great trip, very good value for money and we would have no hesitation in recommending Top China Travel to anybody considering a China Tour.

Top China Travel put together a fantastic tour for my wife, myself and another couple. We started in Shanghai, then went to Guilin, on to Chengdu, Xian and ending in Beijing. All the stops, travel, tours and meals were handled by TCT and their guides without so much as a hick-up. Great job done by all!!! Everyone was so helpful and willing to address any questions we may of had to make sure our trip was the best which it was. Guilin in the south with the rice fields (best meal we had was with the local family) to the Li River cruise was the best. Also found a great little massage shop by hotel that we took advantage of 2 nights. Chengdu was all about the Pandas, too cute for words. :) Xian and the Terra Cotta warriors was simple spectacular and ending in Beijing with a rickshaw ride and the Great Wall. It couldn't of been better unless we had more time to spend with them. We can't say enough about Maggie from TCT who helped pull it all together for us and put up with all my questions and changes. To the tour guides and big thank you for taking care of us when we were with you and finally to our drivers, I don't know how you guys do it but hats off to the bunch of you...great job! Look forward to a return trip.

We went on an 11 day Private tour organised by TCT to Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Cruise on Li River and Shanghai. Everything was so perfectly and professionally organized by Bonnie. Prior to the commencement of the holiday she was so helpful and responded very promptly to all our questions and requests. The tour was perfectly tailored to our taste and we have seen and experienced more than what we expected. The Guides were very knowledgeable, especially Christina in regards to her proficiency in English and the knowledge (Sabrina – Beijing, Christina – Xian, Jay Guilin and Alice Shanghai). They were very helpful and went out of their way to help us and make us happy. At times communication became somewhat challenging though, it did not significantly affect us. They recommended very pleasing, fantastic and one of a kind shows that left memorable impressions on us. We highly recommend TCT to anyone who is planning to have a tour in China. Thank you Bonnie and the team for the wonderful and memorable holiday. Gamini & Wijitha

We visited Beijing, Xian, Guilin, and Hong Kong. Our agent Rebecca was very helpful setting up the trip and very responsive to our questions. Our guide in Beijing, Linda, was a joy to be around. We made a friendship with her as we ended up spending a lot of time together. This personal service is most valuable to me as a seasoned world traveler who is used to solo travel. Having her as a guide made me feel like I knew someone in Beijing who was taking me to all those places I had previously only read about. Xian is cultural and Guilin is beautiful and we are so happy with our selection and with TCT.

During the last week in April and the beginning of May 2017, my wife and I toured southwestern parts of China - Guilin, Yangshuo, Xian, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai- in 8 days, starting from Hong Kong. The online booking process with Top China Travel ("TCT") went smoothly with a very knowledgeable and responsive (via e-mails) TCT sales representative, named Janet ("Dan Dan") Chan. It was a private tour with English-speaking guides in private vehicles and via air travels between cities (thus, a bit pricey). The guides all spoke excellent English and drivers were very helpful and courteous. The hotels and China domestic flights, arranged by TCT, were generally very good to excellent. The scenery in Guilin/Yanshuo and Zhangjiajie were breathtaking, although these popular tour destinations were very crowded, as expected. The foods were not as impressive as we expected, sometimes hampered by the language barrier in local Chinese restaurants. All in all, we enjoyed our trip very much, and can recommend TCT to our friends. Steve H.

Remember the name REBECCA. She was the tour operator who organized our trip. She is amazingly extraordinary. All my expectations were satisfied plus more, with her assistance on every aspect of our tour. The tour guides and the drivers who were marvelous with their jobs. They speak and understand English good enough to explain what the sites are. They have great knowledge of the sites. With Beijing, Our tour guide is SUNNY who was very receptive to our needs and safety. She is a very smart young lady who possess a great personality. She was very caring and treated us like a part of her family not just a client. We will really missed her smile. Thank you , Sunny !!! Our driver Mr Wang was also very pleasant and very safety conscious which is very hard to believe with drivers in China. FYI, the driving in China is CRAZY!!! THANKS again Rebecca for your great service and Sunny for your smile and Tenzin in Lhasa, Linda in Zangjiaje, Vicki in Shanghai, Sue in Xian,My appreciation for your exemplary service. We enjoyed our vacation in China because of all of you.

Thank you Top China Travel for a fabulous visit to your wonderful country.
I was apprehensive about visiting China, but thoroughly enjoyed our travels if this beautiful country.
What made the trip was having a guide in 4 of the 5 cities we visited.
Our guides meet us at the airport, took us to our accommodation, picked us up for our daily activities, returned us back to our accommodation and made invaluable recommendations for our evenings. Then made sure we not only got back to the airports, but ensured we had the right terminals, flights and saw is right through to customs.
Having a guide made sure we went to the best sights, at the best times to avoid the queues, getting tickets in advance, making sure we got the best photo opportunities in the best places. And all with informative information about sights and history.
If we had tried to see what we saw on our own, we would have missed so much and spent a long time trying to find it all.
Thank you to Jeremy in Guilin. It was great to get out into the country side and see the hard working farmers tendering their crops, and witness up close the celebration of families remembering their departed families.
To Linda in Beijing. Your warm manner as you taught us about the history of your country, and accepting the challenges of walking the steepest section of the wall with us. Thank you.
Olivia in Xian, the Terra Cotta soldiers was awesome and your making sure we went to government stores so we we're not ripped off, when we brought a soldier and tea.
And Summer in Zhangjiajie, the glass bridge, the glass pathway on the side of the stairway to heaven and your lovely singing. Thank-you for a wonderful tour.
Our guides made our visit to China, a wonderful holiday, thank you all. We wish you well for your futures.
Kind regards from Leah, Angus, Cameron, Maree and Todd

Raylene did a wonderful job organizing our tour to meet our time constraints. She answered all questions very efficiently. Our tour guide Rocco met us at the airport and the Driver was waiting near by. I have specific dietary restrictions and the guide was extremely helpful communicating that with the restaurants. The trip was so easy and we always felt safe. My husband and I are looking forward to booking a more extended trip in the future. There is so much to see and the food is wonderful!

Planned a trip to china and searched many companies online. Top China Travel was the best one. Their agent Vicky was amazing and gave us with a great offer. When we got there , we were amazed by their services. Guides were fluent in English, very friendly, and punctual. We had a great time and I really recommend TopChinaTravel for anyone who wants to see the best in China.

Our guide picked us up on time despite all the traffic of National Holiday Week and explained to us early on that her English was not great (however still enough to communicate some history of the village and the region) but she was very friendly and helpful. We were told we would go to another village rather than Ping'an because of the crowds which we much preferred because it meant we could explore this one (however we did not see a long hair show).

I went on a Top China Travel group tour. Everything was so well organised that I never had to worry about anything. I really liked that the group was small and it felt like we were a big group of old-friends all travelling together, not just a passenger on the bus. Every hotel, guide, driver and restaurant was very well picked. I was very happy with how well-informed each guide was, how flexible they were to ensure we all had a great time, and their English was all very good. At every step of the way, guides had us fill in a Top China Travel feedback form which I am certain the company take very seriously since their service was so good. I will be passing on their details to all my friends and family who want to travel in China.

When we booked our trip to China we had a limited time to see everything we wanted to but Janet Chan at TCT did an absolutely amazing job at ticking every box and more. The itinerary was perfect. Journeys and accommodation were meticulously planned and accomplished. Our guides too were excellent. Alex in Beijing, Ken in Xian, and especially Maria in Shanghai were so professional and efficient that we never felt like strangers in a strange land. Many thanks TCT, best trip ever.
