Right from my first email till even after reaching home from the tour, I and my family were taken excellent care of by Vicky and others of Top China Travel. Our 16 day tour of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xian, Beijing, Guilin and finally Hong Kong was not just planned excellently, it was made highly pleasurable by Vicky and her colleagues from the TCT office and each of the tour guides who became a part of my family while going around. Our tour was a private tour making us feel like VVIPs at each stage due to exclusivity experienced by us at each scenic, cultural or historic place we visited. The guides got us the best seats with discounts for all the shows we had desired to experience making our tour very memorable. Last but not the least the invaluable guidance and tips as well as their initiative helped us save quite many yuans and dollars! I can't thank Vicky, all the tour guide and TCT for a classic experience of all times!

The tour of China arranged through top China travel was the best adventures ever throughout the country. Our guides were first rate and unparalleled professionalism was shown in every area of China we visited: Guilin, Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Hong Kong. We enjoyed every moment of our privately guided tours. Our visit to China was wonderful and we cannot say enough to endorse top China travel as a first-class travel agency. We have returned to our home in Corpus Christi, Texas with wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

I am a tour leader from Italy and this was my first cooperation with Janet and how lucky we met her!! We followed the trip with her to remote areas in China including some ethnic group area in Guizhou province and Sanjiang, Longsheng and Guilin, we enjoyed completely throughout the whole trip and some arrangement even out of our surprise, like we went to Janet’s home to learn how to pack Chinese Ravioli, she invited a Taichi teacher and we had a 1 hour Taichi class inside her home community. Everything was fine and our group members are all like her very much. We strongly recommend Janet Chan (janet@topchinatravel.com) as your China trip consultant! She is so considerate and carefully planned each detail of our trip. Guizhou is a very interesting and primitive place for visiting, you should include in your China trip as well! Thank you Janet! You are very professional!!

We had a wonderful tour of Beijing, Xi’an, Lhasa, Chengdu and Shanghai. Our tour guide/ planner , Joyce , was so pleasant and helpful from beginning to end. We kept in touch throughout our tour through what’s app when any questions arose. Our personal tour guides in each city were knowledgeable and friendly as well as all of our drivers. We would highly recommend China tours. ( ask for Joyce!)

I have been to Xi'an before with a larger group so this time booking with only 3 friends made it very enjoyable and a more personable experience for each of us. The cost was reasonable and made the whole time worry free. The restaurant that was recommended by our tour guide Maggie was of excellent quality and fair price. Maggie's english was very good, and knowledge of sites we visited was also very good. The booking agent Janet took care of the logistics of every detail of the trip; she was available to assist us outside of regular working hours and became our translator at the train station when we were having difficulty communicating what we needed.

My wife and I booked a private tour with Top China Travel for 6 days , From the outset the help we got from TCT was first class and Joyce our representative in China answered all our questions and tailored the tour accordingly . On arrival at Beijing airport the guide Venus and driver Mr Howe were there to meet us and take us to our very comfortable hotel which TCT had arranged. The second day we visited the Great Wall which was fantastic. Neil the guide for this trip was knowledgeable and very informative and later in the day we wandered around the beautiful Summer Palace at leisure. The Forbidden City with Venus our lovely guide was incredible as was meeting local people in the Hutong and market. A trip to Xi An to see the Terracotta Warriers taking the bullet train from Beijing was incredible travelling at 306 kilometres an hour. Comfortable and spotless taking just 4hr 20min to cover 1,200 Kms . Again when we arrived in Xi An station our guide Vincy and the driver Mr Toa were there to meet us and take us to our hotel. The next morning our car driver and guide took us to the Buddhist Pagoda in Xi An the first to be built in China, Very Interesting and so peaceful. The terracotta warriors were incredible, a massive site with five pits. We cannot thank Top China Tours enough for helping us to have an experience of a life time and we recommend them unreservedly. If you want experience the China that the Chinese see, and have it done with care and efficiency, by all means use Top China Travel for courteous on the spot and on time connections for the trip of your life. The staff supplied an English interpreter so that the trip was enjoyed by all English speaking participants. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip at all.

We recently returned from a 16 day tour of China. Our holiday was organised by Rebecca Wei who was a pleasure to deal with. We arrived in Beijing and departed from Shanghai. There was lots to organise as we had two internal flights and three train journeys as well as three nights on a boat cruising the Yangtze river. All the arrangments fell into place like clockwork, our guides were excellent, spoke very good english and had a good knowledge of the places we visited. We saw some fantastic sights but some of the highlights for us were The Great Wall, The Yungang Grottoes, The Hanging Temple Datong, The terrracotta warriors and the muslim quarter in Xiang and the cruise on the Yangtze. We travelled in September so the temperatures were around 28C [ fine for us as we live in Durban] it is also a good time as the lines to get enterance to some places were very short. There was a lot of walking involved so comfortable walking shoes are a must as well as a sun hat. We stayed in a couple of "traditional" hotels which we loved and then some very upmarket hotels. The exception was the hotel in Xiang which scored 100% on location but had some very unfriendly staff a poor restaurant as well as putting us in an unrenovated room for the first night. We moved to the renovated floors for the other night which was much better. I should add here that this was a mistake by the hotel not TCT] My one regret is that we should have stayed a night in Wuzhen Water Town but that really was not practical as we had to leave our hotel in Shanghai at 4 in the morning to catch the flight home. We have some wondefull memories so thank you Rebecca and TCT for organizing a really interesting holiday Andrew and Anne B, DurbanSouth Africa

We still can't believe that we've spent 11 days of dream in China, organized for us by TCT Guilin. The pick ups at the different airports went without a hitch. our guides were warm and so friendly, although a few were quite busy with their IPhone. The hotels recommended were outstanding. The breakfast at The Marriott were excellent. The terra cotta army in Xian is a marvel. The dumpling banquet in Xian was somewhat below our expectations though. The cruise on the Yang Tse river, a once in a lifetime experience though a bit too short. Don t hesitate to upgrade to the suite on the Victoria cruises (Victoria Selena), you won't regret it, a panoramic view of breath taking intensity....quite interesting shore excursions, they are worth the money. We would hesitate one second to book another and longer trip with TCT Guilin.

During the last week in April and the beginning of May 2017, my wife and I toured southwestern parts of China - Guilin, Yangshuo, Xian, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai- in 8 days, starting from Hong Kong. The online booking process with Top China Travel ("TCT") went smoothly with a very knowledgeable and responsive (via e-mails) TCT sales representative, named Janet ("Dan Dan") Chan. It was a private tour with English-speaking guides in private vehicles and via air travels between cities (thus, a bit pricey). The guides all spoke excellent English and drivers were very helpful and courteous. The hotels and China domestic flights, arranged by TCT, were generally very good to excellent. The scenery in Guilin/Yanshuo and Zhangjiajie were breathtaking, although these popular tour destinations were very crowded, as expected. The foods were not as impressive as we expected, sometimes hampered by the language barrier in local Chinese restaurants. All in all, we enjoyed our trip very much, and can recommend TCT to our friends. Steve H.

We are currently still traveling but wanted to give a review of our Beijing section of the trip. Firstly, when we explored options on tours on the internet we sent email from the TCT website requesting information. Janet replied and from there on the planning was effortless. She accommodated all that we wanted to see into a well planned trip. She was responsive and prompt in her replies from China and could speak english well. We arrived at our first destination in Beijing. Our guide, Eric Gu, greeted us at the airport with a big smile. For last 3 days he has shown us the attractions. He is very knowledgable, patient, flexible and fun. Speaks excellent english also. He made extra effort to accommodate our requests and waited patiently while we were eating delicious food, buying pearls and handbags and booking us theatre tickets to the Kung Fu show. We cannot have enough thanks for the good service we got. Stay tuned for the rest of our trip. On the Xian and Shanghai now.

I found Top China Travel in the internet, and started a conversation via email with one of the travel agents, her name is Joyce Tang, needless to say, she was excellent and understood exactly what we wanted to do and visit as a family. Joyce created a semi-private itinerary for my family. Everything went perfectly as planned and as described in the itinerary that I received from Joyce. We visited Shanghai, Xian, and Beijing, a 6 Day itinerary. We are extremely happy with the service we received!

We went on an 11 day Private tour organised by TCT to Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Cruise on Li River and Shanghai. Everything was so perfectly and professionally organized by Bonnie. Prior to the commencement of the holiday she was so helpful and responded very promptly to all our questions and requests. The tour was perfectly tailored to our taste and we have seen and experienced more than what we expected. The Guides were very knowledgeable, especially Christina in regards to her proficiency in English and the knowledge (Sabrina – Beijing, Christina – Xian, Jay Guilin and Alice Shanghai). They were very helpful and went out of their way to help us and make us happy. At times communication became somewhat challenging though, it did not significantly affect us. They recommended very pleasing, fantastic and one of a kind shows that left memorable impressions on us. We highly recommend TCT to anyone who is planning to have a tour in China. Thank you Bonnie and the team for the wonderful and memorable holiday. Gamini & Wijitha
