Hohhot Great Mosque is the most famous mosque in Inner Mongolia. It is the longest, largest and best-preserved mosque in Inner Mongolia. It was built in the thirty-second year of Kangxi of Qing dynasty (1693 AD) and covers an area of about 4000 square meters. One of the most striking buildings in the mosque is the Wangyue building on the southeast side of the great mosque. Hohhot Muslim Mosque is a beautiful and complete ancient building in Hohhot city. Its architectural art composition and unique style are worthy of inheritance and reference.

Baotou Great Mosque
 

Baotou Great Mosque is located in the mosque alley of Donghe district in Baotou city. It was built in Qianlong period of Qing dynasty. It was the first mosque established after the introduction of Islam into Baotou. Baotou Great Mosque covers an area of about 1200 square meters, with over 70 buildings including worship hall and bath room. It is an influential mosque in the western part of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
