Bosten Lake is 1,048 meters above sea level, 55 kilometers long from east to west and 25 kilometers wide from north to south. Its shape is like a triangular, with an area of 988 square kilometers. There are dozens of small lakes of different sizes in the southwest of the Great Lakes, with a total area of 1,228 square kilometers and a lake capacity of about 10 billion cubic meters.
