Main Attractions

Qianshu Menping (Boundary Stone Monument)
Located at an altitude of more than 1,800 meters, Qianshu Menping marks the boundary between Sichuan and Guizhou. Locals call it the “Great Stele.” In history, this place often saw disputes over borders. In 1901 (the 27th year of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty), Lang Chengmo, a local official of Zunyi Prefecture in Guizhou, set up this stone stele to maintain peace with neighbors, thus resolving the conflict. The stone screen is 2 meters high, 0.8 meters wide, and 0.2 meters thick.

Indoor Ski Resort
Fairy Mountain Indoor Ski Resort covers more than 30,000 square meters, making it the largest indoor ski facility in Southwest China. The temperature inside remains between 0–2℃ all year round, with snow depth of 30–50 cm. There are two indoor ski slopes, each 243 meters long. Visitors can try both skiing and snow tubing, making it a popular choice for winter sports enthusiasts.

Tourism Memorial Forest
The Tourism Memorial Forest is an artificial cedar forest. In 2009, during the “Modern Tourism and Social Development” Forum held on Fairy Mountain by China’s top 100 travel agencies, all participants planted trees here. Each tree bears a tag recording its species, planting time, and the planter’s name, giving the forest both ecological and cultural significance.

Grassland
At an altitude of 1,950 meters, the Fairy Mountain Grassland is praised as the “Eden Garden on Earth.” It consists of 16 pastures of different sizes, such as Houjia Dam, Sancha Dam, Xiaogeng Dam, and Lancao Dam. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the meadows are dotted with sheep, horses, and cattle peacefully grazing. The grassland is also home to a unique alpine moss plant called “Niumao Zhancao Duns,” which only grows above 1,800 meters and is extremely resilient.

Tongtian Tower
Tongtian Tower, the highest peak in the park, stands at 2,033 meters above sea level. Originally a wooden watchtower built to monitor forest fires, it has now been reconstructed with bricks and cement. Today, besides its fire-monitoring function, it serves as an excellent observation deck for visitors to enjoy panoramic views of the mountain.

Fairy Stone (Xian Nü Shi)
Different from the grassland scenery of Fairy Mountain, the Fairy Stone area is characterized by steep cliffs and deep valleys. Several stone pillars stand on the cliff edge, resembling figures. According to legend, seven fairies once descended from heaven and fell in love with mortals here. When the Queen Mother discovered this, she punished them by turning them into stone pillars, where they remain standing face to face for eternity. To commemorate this love story, the place was named Fairy Mountain.

Bodhisattva Hill (Pusa Tuo)
Located at the edge of Xiaogeng Dam grassland, Bodhisattva Hill is a small solitary peak rising from the meadow. Resembling a kind and serene Bodhisattva, it has become a spiritual site for worship. Every year on the 29th day of the sixth lunar month, hundreds of local villagers come here for pilgrimage, forming a unique cultural spectacle of Fairy Mountain.
