The cable car provided by the Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area is very safe, smooth and comfortable. Just like shown in the photograph below, they are fixed on a cableway and runs more stable. The cable car station is located in the rear hill, where is the terminal station of Bus No. 919, 877 and 879. One cable car can take about 5 people for each time. Plus, it will only take you five minutes to get to the top watch tower.
For tourists wish to take the cable cars, we would suggest you to take the cable car up the seventh watch tower of the Badaling great wall, then get off and walk up to the eighth watch tower (which is the highest watch tower of the Badaling section great wall, though there are more than ten watch towers during this section) to experience the nicest scenery section of there. And the walking during the seventh and eighth watch tower is quite smooth and pleasant enough.

Take a pulley is less stable but it is more fun compared to taking the cable car. The pulley runs from the parking lot in the front mountain, where is the bus station of the Bus No. 877. Ticket fare for Badaling great wall pulley car is 100 CNY for both ways per adult. It only takes you less than ten minutes to get to the top.
