Hong Kong Delicacies: irresistible temptation

Friends said that during my four day tour in Hong Kong; my blog was all about Hong Kong’sdelicacies, which enticed them. Hong Kong’s delicacies are really tempting. You can find them everywhere in all the avenues and alleys. Hong Kong is a place converging gourmets all over the world. Western, Eastern, Cantonese, Japanese, Shanghai flavor, etc…. all kinds of delicacies can be found in Hong Kong. Walking in Hong Kong, like walking in the paradise of “eaters”.

The first day in Hong Kong, we were living in a hotel not far away from the airport. It was convenient for shopping, and boisterous. Otherwise there was easy to take Anping caber car to see the largest bronze sitting Buddha in the world. We went to see the Buddha and had our lunch here. There was a place can eat monk food. Though the cuisines here were all vegetarian, they were very tasty and refreshing. As we had vegetarian lunch, we decided to have supper in an Italian restaurant. The food here is simple and exquisite. In the candlelight, everything seemed so dreaming. The most characteristic of the dinner was DIY mashed garlic. The bread with Italian olive oil and mashed garlic is so delicious.

The second day in Hong Kong, we had our lunch in the first terminal of the airport. The crab-flavor fish and Cantonese refreshments here are worth the recommendation. After lunch we went to Kowloon, and living in a hotel of this district with Temple Street, ladies’ street, Australian Milk Company in nearby. Delicacies can be found everywhere, and our supper was solved when we walked here. If you are a “Eater”, you will find your happiness here.

The third day in Hong Kong, we had lunch in Hotel Novotel, seafood buffet, 198 Hong Kong Dollar per person. The seafood here is very fresh. Salmon, oyster and prawn are all my favorite. After lunch we went to Hong Kong Center District. Out supper was Tai cuisines. It was recommended by my friend. It is said that the chief of the restaurant Mango Tree used to serve in Tai royal.

The short 4 days trip was just leaving one day. The lunch of the last day is simple: bread, Italian Fried trout, white wine, and special-made cake of the hotel. The flavor is so good as it is sequential tasting. After lunch, we packed our luggage and ready to go home. In the rest room of the airport, we had deserts and fruit. Recalling the short 4-days Hong Kong gourmet tour, oh, I think I fall in love with Hong Kong.
