Shanghai Book City is said to be the largest bookstore in the city located at No.465, further along the road away form People's Square you can find the largest official Foreign Language Bookstore in Shanghai. and Foreign Languages Bookstore has three devoted to foreign language titles. Most of the materials here are in English with the first floor containing mostly souvenirs books about China history and English literary classics. Other novelty stores offer a wide selection of pretty greeting cards, silk paper, Huizhou rice paper, Zhoushanlian writing brushes, artistic painting frames, and etc. So it is a perfect place to pick up some new reading material or a new hobby.
