Welcome to Japan! Upon arrival at Narita/Haneda International Airport, you will meet our English-speaking driver with name board at the airport exit. Thank take sharing-basis vehicle to hotel directly. After check in, the rest of the day is free at leisure on your own.

1. Transfer service: on sharing basis
2. Pick up service: 30 minutes after passengers’ flight’s actual arrival time. The maximum waiting time is one hour.
3. Airport arrival time should be between 08:00-20:00

Day 2Tokyo

Today is your time to explore the Tokyo city. After your early breakfast at hotel, start for a full day to explore Tokyo city in a group.

The fist stop is Tokyo Tower (approx. 30 mins), from which you could enjoy a panorama of Tokyo from the main observation platform. Then the group moves to Meiji Shrine (approx. 40 mins). It takes a fine example of Japanese shrine architecture. It is nestled in a peaceful and picturesque area. Passing by the Akasaka Guest House and National Diet Building, we will go to visit Imperial Palace East Garden (approx. 40 mins), enjoy a pleasant walk through the garden, which is a place of historical interest and scenic beauty. Then drive through Ginza Shopping District and leave you about 1 hour to enjoy a typical Japanese style lunch.

In the afternoon, the group will visit Hama-rikyu Garden (approx. 40 mins), which is a typical daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) garden in the Edo period with a tidal pond. Then we will enjoy a boat ride on Sumida River from Hinode Pier to Asakusa to see a harmonious blend of old and new Tokyo. In Asakusa area, we will visit Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street, which is the famous cultural landmark in Tokyo.

Then the group will drive through Kappabashi and arrive in Ueno and Akihabara about 17:45-18:00. Return service is available to the hotel where you were picked up.
 

Notes:

1. The group pick up time is between 07:30 and 08:50 in the morning, but the pick-up service depends on hotel. If your hotel is not at pick-up point, you may need to go to the nearest pick up point by yourself.
2. The Imperial Palace East Garden is often closed on Monday and Friday. Whenever, it is closed, the group will be arranged to visit Imperial Palace Plaza, Double Bridge instead, seeing the inner moat, 15-foot thick walls and pine trees surrounding the 250-acre fortress, home of the Emperor and Empress.
3. The return service is only available to the hotel where you are picked up. The Return service is arranged between around 18:00 and 20:00.

Day 4 Tokyo   HakoneKyoto

Accommodation: In Kyoto

After breakfast in your hotel, you will start a full day group tour to visit Mt. Fuji & Hakone. The motor- coach rides for about 150 minutes, and we arrive at Mt. Fuji 2th Station, from which we could enjoy a panoramic view for about half an hour and tourists will be amazed by the spectacular and breathtaking views from above the clouds. Then tourist will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Gotemba.

After lunch, we will ride the Hakone Sky Gondola and visit Owakudani Valley. You will also have chance to have a boat cruise on Lake Ashi, which is a crater lake along the southwest wall of the caldera of Mt. Hakone, formed by a powerful volcanic eruption about 3,000 years ago. It provides a postcard views of Mt. Fuji.

Then you will be dropped off at Odawara Station, where you will take bullet train to Kyoto. Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, move to your hotel by yourself.

1. The group pick up time is between 07:30 and 08:50 in the morning, but the pick-up service depends on hotel. If your hotel is not at pick-up point, you may need to go to the nearest pick up point by yourself.
2. Hakone Sky Gondola, Owakudani Valley or Pirate Boat Cruise on Lake Ashi may be omitted or substituted due to weather conditions, heavy traffic, or other operational reasons. In such cases, a tour guide shall take you to one or two locations from among the following alternative sightseeing spots. Please note, however that the tours may not be canceled and the tour fare shall not be refunded. Alternative sightseeing spots: Hakone Komagatake Ropeway, the summit of Komagatake, Hakone Ashinoko (Lake Ashi) Boat Cruise, Hakone Shrine, Hakone Check Point, Hakone GeoMuseum, Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Boat Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi or Kawaguchi Ropeway. The tour guide shall finalize the best alternative under the circumstance.
3. You will drive up to the highest possible point when the road up to Mt.Fuji 5th station is closed due to snow or other reasons, if heavy traffic is expected or the tour is running late. Even under these circumstances, the tours may not be canceled and the tour fare shall not be refunded.

Day 5Kyoto

Breakfast at hotel, we will start a full day Kyoto tour. You will need to meet the tour guide at Kyoto Avanti Sunrise tours desk by meeting time by yourselves. The departure time from Avanti’s Sunrise Tours Desk (Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit) at 08:30. You will need to check the tour at the desk by yourself. Then take the motor-coach to visit Nijo-jo Castle (50 min), once Kyoto imperial castle with stunning Tamami rooms in which there are many beautiful paintings of the Edo period. Then visit Kinkaku-ji Temple (45 min), the most well-known temple in Japan, which is considered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next stop is Kyoto Imperial Palace (40 min) before a Japanese style lunch is arranged at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the group move to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (30 min), the head shrine of about 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan and Sanjusangen-do Temple (30 min) first, Sanjusangendo is a unique and impressive temple in Kyoto. It dates back to 1164 and is famous for its 1001 golden statues of Kannon, goddess of mercy. Before transfer back, we will visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (70 min), which is the oldest temple in Kyoto, known for "stage of the Kiyomizu". It was listed as one of the world cultural heritage sites in 1994.

Tourists will be dropped off at Kyoto Station and need to go back to hotel by yourselves.

Have a leisure breakfast in the hotel and you will have a free morning to explore the city by yourself. Then a half day group tour departs at 13:45 from Avanti’s Sunrise Tours Desk ( Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit). You will need to check the tour at the desk by yourself. Then take a motor-coach to visit Todaiji Temple through Nara Garden. Kasuga Tasha Shrine is another highlight in Nara, famous for its lanterns, which have been donated by worshipers. After a stop at Nara Nagomikan (a gift shop), the group will bedriven back to Kyoto and dropped off at Kyoto Station. Tourists back to hotel on their own.
