My family and I embarked on our very first journey to see and feel what a 5,000 years of continuous civilization looks like. Our local partner was China International Travel Services (CITS) headquartered in Guilin, which provided more than satisfactory services, excellent to be precise. Kurt, the local guide in Beijing, assisted us to visit most of the 'must see attractions' there despite the rain and some venue closures. He accommodated our Mutiyanyu visit to that day’s open Badaling section of the Great Wall. We had to see the Great Wall 😊 .

In Xi'an, Eric's ''Oh ... come on !!'' still rings in my ears today 😄. Great times with him at Terracota, City Wall, Muslim Quarter & the Chang’an City Wall.
Molly in Chengdu, without any hesitation, took us to Yibin (her hometown also) even though it wasn't in our itinerary. That was an excellent customer service to accomodate my desire to see the beginning of the mighty Yangtze (Chang jiang) river. Yibin is where Jinsha & Minjiang rivers confluence to form the Yangtze.

Michelle described the beauty of Guilin & Li River cruise as ''unparalleled landscape under heaven''.
Young Juliet took us to a mesmerizing view of Shanghai, the old (Bund), the modern Pudong and her hometown Suzhou and the surrounding Tongli water town. Her quote 'very nice' to our 'nice' remark will always be remembered fondly.

And it all began with ‘Dear Frederich’, our tour consultant at CITS whom we met personally in Guilin. Thank You Frederich, one more time.
If I were to do a second China trip in the future, CITS would be my go to agency w/o any hesitation. Finally, their price quotation was also the major factor for the choice. Highly recommended travel agency. Thanks for all the memories.
