Hezhu Pagoda, formerly known as "Hanggong Pagoda", was built in Qing Dynasty. At that time, scholars deeply admired Hang Shijun, a talented scholar in Hangzhou, so they raised funds to build a stone pagoda to commemorate him, but it no longer exists because of years of neglect. According to historical records, the Chiang family lived in Jiangcun Village area for generations, who made a fortune through hard work, and then moved to Hangzhou. During the famine years, Jiang Chongren, who ranked seventh in the Chiang family, bought a large amount of grain at the harvest time. When the grain was insufficient at the end of the year, he sold it to the masses at the original purchase price, and asked the grain buyers to weigh it themselves according to the amount of money. In the year of great disaster, he will also make porridge to help the victims. His two younger brothers, Jiang Chongyi and Jiang Chongxin, have also done good deeds one after another. The three brothers have been doing good deeds for more than 60 years. After the death of the three brothers, people set up a ancestral hall in their hometown to commemorate them, that is, the Ancestral Hall of Jiang’s Family. In 1267, Yin Qian reported the deeds of the three Chiang brothers to the court and asked for a reward. In the second year, the court granted The three brothers respectively.
