Well noted that you have hotel reservation in Hong Kong, Guilin, Beijing and Shanghai and hope to travel by train between the cities. I am delighted to let you know the train information as below for your reference,

1.    Hong Kong-Guilin: There isn’t train between Hong Kong and Guilin directly, but there are 3 high speed trains and one overnight train between Guilin and Shenzhen, which is the nearest city to Hong Kong. Therefore, we suggest you take train (subway) from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, then transit to Shenzhen Railway Station to take the overnight train or Shenzhen North Railway Station to take high speed train to Guilin
2.    There are both high speed trains and overnight trains from Guilin to Beijing or Shanghai.
3.    There are high speed trains between Beijing and shanghai.
