Well noted that you are planning to travel to Mt. Taishan and you plan to stay on the top of Mt. Taishan. You are correct that there are some hotels or hostels on the top of Mt. Tai, but we are not sure about the facility and safety.  But it is sure that the hotel on the top is more expensive and the most staffs can not understand English.

Therefore, we suggest you to stay at the foot of Mt. Tai, where you could find many 3-4 star hotels. If you want to watch the sunrise, you could climb up to the top from the early morning. If you do not mind the facility, then please be advise some hotel information as below for your reference,

Note: It is located in front of Yuhuang Temple. It is said it is the only 3-star hotel on the top of Mt. Taishan, where tourists could stay and have meals. There are also spar, bar, restaurants, Kara Ok and shopping area in the hotel.

Note: It is a hostel. It is only about 50 meters far way from South Heaven Gate
