Day 1Arrival Phnom Penh

Meals: No meal
Accommodation: In Phnom Penh

Upon arriving in Phnom Penh, you will be greeted at the airport by local guide and transferred to your hotel. You will have free time before dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
 

Day 2Phnom Penh

Meals: Hotel breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Phnom Penh

We will take a city tour of Phnom Penh, including the Silver Pagoda, on the south side of the Royal Palace, known as Wat Preah Keo. Then go to visit the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide. The last stop is Wat Phnom, which is the tallest religious structure in the city. You will be dropped off at hotel after the visit. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 3Phnom Penh Siem Reap

Meals: Hotel breakfast, Dinner
Accommodation: In Siem Reap

In the morning take a domestic flight to Siem Reap. Upon arriving in Siem Reap, drive to the ecological site and visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of the Leper King and more. You will experience the world wonder of Angkor Wat and bask in the sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill. Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments in the world. You will then have a dinner with an Apsara show at a local restaurant before transfer to hotel.

Day 4Siem Reap

Meals: Hotel breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Siem Reap

Today we will arrange you to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Then take a visit of Pre Rup, East Mebon and Neak Poan. In the afternoon visit Krovan, the Royal Bath of Srah Srang and Banteay Kdei temples. The tour finishes by dropping off at your hotel.

Day 5Siem Reap Luang Prabang

Meals: Hotel breakfast, Dinner
Accommodation: In Luang Prabang

After breakfast, have a boat excursion to view wonderful landscape of Tonle Sap Great Lake and explore local fishermen’s floating villages. Return to the town for lunch and at leisure in the afternoon for shopping until transfer to the airport for your own departure flight for Luang Prabang. If time is enough when you arrive, you can explore the local Night Market, where you can find lovely textiles made by the local hill tribe people from areas surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 6Luang Prabang

If you are interested in the local culture, an optional early start gives you a fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. This is a unique trandition in Laso.

After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a short guided tour of the city's oldest temple, Wat Sene, and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. An then we will board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which gives you a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves.  The two linked caves are crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we will stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled. Then we will drive back to Luang Prabang, taking a short drive to Ban Phanom en route. It is a small village well known for its hand weaving.

After lunch, continue towards the Kuang Si Waterfall. On the way, there are many local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups for visit on your interests.  You can take a dip in the inviting pools or walk along the forest trails surrounding Kuang Si Waterfall. On the way back to Luang Prabang, continue a visit to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for silk hand weaving and for traditional Saa paper making. Enjoy the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath and have dinner at a local restaurant before transfer back to hotel.

Day 7Luang Prabang Vientiane

Meals: Hotel breakfast, Dinner
Accommodation: In Vientiane

The National Museum (closed Tuesdays) at the former Royal Palace displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, which can not to be missed in the morning before catching your flight back to Vientiane, the capital of Laos.

In the afternoon, a city tour is arranged for you by visiting Wat Sisaket (with thousands of miniature Buddha statues) and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you can stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Watch the sunset by the Mekong riverside and spend the evening here absorbing the city's nightlife. You will have dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Vientiane.

Day 8Departure Vientiane

After breakfast, a visit to the Morning Market and the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong (if time permits) can be arranged. Then you will transfer to Wattay Airport for your departure.
