Beijing to Guangzhou High Speed Train

The part of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway "Beijing-Zhengzhou high speed rail" was opened to public on December 26, 2012. Along with the previous Zhengzhou to Wuhan section, the Wuhan-Guangzhou section, the world's longest operating mileage Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway has already fully passed through the whole line.

Since then, traveling from Beijing to Guangzhou only takes 7 hours 59 minutes, which is about 12 hours 30 minutes faster than the existing fastest Beijing-Guangzhou ordinary train. Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Train starts from Beijing West Railway Station, then passes Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, to Guangzhou South Railway Station. It has a total length of 2298 km, a full range of design speed of 350 km / h and the initial operating speed of 300 km / h.
