It opens all year round.

 

 

2.  How do I go there from shanghai via train?

Hongyagu is located in Pingshan County of Hebei Province. You can travel to Shijiangzhuang and take bus to get there.

 

 

3.  Can I just make a day trip and be back to Shanghai on the same day?

No. It takes about 7 hours by bullet train from Shanghai to Shijiangzhuang.

 

 

4.  How much is the cost? and do I need to buy a ticket in advance?

For a tailor-made tour, the price will be a bit expensive.
