For tourists holding Taiwan passport holders to China from Taiwan. 

1. Can the 48 hour PCR test be taken at any clinic or only specific ones?  Is it necessary to get a green Health Code?  How to get it?

Generally the 48 hour PCR test will be taken at local hospital. Whether it is taken at specific ones, we suggest you contact with the airlines which you will take. Currently green health code is not required in Chinese mainland. Therefore, you do not need to get a green health code to enter Chinese mainland.

If the PCR test result is negative, quarantine is not required. If the PCR test result is positive, then the traveler will be request to delay the trip until he or she recovers and gets a negative result.

 

2. Is Health Insurance compulsory for entering China?

Health insurance for entering China is not compulsory. As travel agency, we suggest you buy a comprehensive travel insurance for each tour.

 

3. Online Health Declaration - must it also be done when leaving China?

According to the current policy, when Tainwanese back to Chinese mainland or back to Taiwan from Chinese mainland, they will need to do online health declaration. When you back to Taiwan, please login in [入境检疫系统Quarantine System for Entry] to do the health declaration. When you travel from Taiwan to Chinese mainland, please scan the QR code through Wechat to declare the health.

 

4. Customs currency luggage declaration - where to get the form?  If there is nothing to declare, must the form still be filled up?  Must it be filled up when departing China?

The currency (cash)value lower than 5000USD can be brought when entry or out of China without declaration. If the currency is over value USD5000 cash, travelers will be requested to submit paper declaration at the Customs.

Anyway, when you travel, we do suggest you do not bring too much cash. You can use credit card or deposit some cash from your bank card when you are in China. It will be safer.
