Here are some tips for how to buy ticket for bus from Shanghai Railway Station to Xitang.

From Shanghai Railway Station, you could get to the nearest bus staion, Shanghai Bus Station, then take bus to Xitang.

Everyday, there are several buses from Shanghai Bus Station to Xitang from morning to night, and the earliest bus departs at 09:10 AM, and the lastest bus departs at 18: 10 PM.

For buying ticket, you could buy it at the ticket counter of Shanghai Bus Station. Or you could book a ticket from Ctrip.com. You don't need to book in advance, and i suggest you buy it in the bus station.

About the price, from Shanghai to Xitang, and bus ticket costs about 41 yuan.
