There are different types of visa for visiting China, people who intend to go to China as a tourist should apply for L visa. Generally people who apply for L visa need to provide the proof of legal stay or residence status, travel plan, hotel reservation, air ticket reservation and maybe bank statement. The details of what you shall prepare before submitting a visa application are listed below for your reference:
 

► (1) Passport

Providing your original valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity and 2 blank visa pages. And a photocopy of the passport’s data page and the photo page if it is separate. The submitted photos should be similar to the one in your passport.

► (2) Visa Application Form and Photo

You need to fill in a visa application form and complete it with 2 recently-taken color passport photos. Only photo full-face and bareheaded will be accepted.

► (3) Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship).

If you are not in the country of your citizenship when you are applying for the visa, you must provide original and also the photocopy of valid visa of employment, residence, stay or student status of the country where you are currently staying.

If it is the first time for you to apply for a China visa, you need to provide your previous passport and a photocopy of its data page.

If you want to apply for a China visa with a renewed foreign passport (based on that you have obtained Chinese visas before), you should submit the photocopy of previous passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate, as well as the previous Chinese visa page. (If your name has changed on the current passport that it is different from the previous passport, you must present an official document of name change).
 

It is requested that Pakistani citizens need to take part in a travel group (more than 5 people) which should be arranged through a qualified local travel agency when they want to travel China.

So the basic conditions to apply China tourist visa for travelers from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are:

► (1) A travel group with at least 5 pax (including 5 pax)

► (2) The original invitation letter authorized by related China Foreign Affair department is required

 

Generally it takes 4 working days for visa processing. Diplomatic and Official passport holders of the third countries as well as Pakistani ordinary passport holders are exempted from visa fees.

And visa fees for other countries' ordinary passport holders should be:

► Single Entry                              Rs. 4500

► Double Entries                          Rs.6500

► 6-Month Multiple Entries           Rs.9000

► 12-Month Multiple Entries          Rs.13000
