If you are arriving at 3.30PM on Oct. 15, you should return on the 18th at 3.40pm, not on the 19th at 3.40pm. 72 hours equals 3 days. And the 72 hours refers to A connecting air ticket of leaving above Beijing Capital airports within 72 hours. The 72-hours visa free time is valid since you finish the visa-free procedure but not the arriving time of your plane to above cities
