Day 1

Arrival Tianjin
Arrive in Tianjin by train in the morning, your local guide will meet you at the train station then accompany you for a visit to Shi's Courtyard, the No. 1 Residence of North China, which locates in Yangliuqing Ancient Town. Then continue your visit to Yangliuqing New Year Painting Studio and Tianjin Museum.

Shi's Courtyard was the old residence of Shi Yuanshi, the fourth son of Shi Wancheng, one of the top eight richest in Tianjin during the Qing Dynasty. It was called as the 'First Residence of North China'. Now it is open as Folklore Museum of Yangliuqing.

Yangliuqing New Year Painting, with a history over 600 years, is one of the great folk handy crafts in Tianjin. It inherited the painting traditions of Song and Yuan Dynasties, the only difference is such painting not made on papers directly, but printed on board then inked on papers. Afterwards in Ming Dynasty, it absorbed the essences of popular woodcut paintings, craftworks and stage arts and developed into the forms we appreciated nowadays.

Tianjin Museum, covers an area of 30 square km with 3layers, shaped like a flying swam, is the biggest comprehensive museum in Tianjing, and gathers both historical and artistic precious collections.

Day 2

Departure Tianjin
Today, you will have a boat riding on Haihe River, then take a leisure stroll around the Ancient Cultural Street and Food Mall, Old Concession and the Porcelain House. Transfer to Tianjin railway station for your train to next destination.

Haihe River, formed by five large rivers—the North Canal, the Yongding, the Daqing, the Ziya and the South Canal, is the largest water system of north China. Haihe basin covers an area over 0.267 million square km, cross Hebei Province, Beijing, Tianjin and Shangdong Province, with a total length up to 1, 050 km.

The Porcelain House, locates in the old French Concession, once to be a residence. Now, it renovated as a unique porcelain museum which all covers with porcelain pieces, so, it is a real "Porcelain House"!

A single room is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar one.

3. Driver and English-speaking guide service on normal sightseeing activities noted in the itinerary.

4. All entrance fees to scenic spots as shown in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TopChinaTravel. TCT will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
