When I planning our private trip to china I have read many trip adviser reviews and I have noticed Janet Chan’s name came up a number of times so i sent her an e-mail asked for the best two weeks private tour in China for 6 persons , whiten two days she replied me recommending 5 cities ( Zhangjiajie, hangzhuo , shanghai, Beijing , Guilin ) we went through the program which she sent to us it was excellent so we asked her to go ahead to arrange our journey . it was a great choice we made, The tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful. The hotels which reserved for us by TCT were excellent We can only say thanks for TCT and especially Janet Chan

My husband and I booked a two week private tour of China with Top China Travel. It was an excellent experience. Vicky, a tour consultant, offered us a very good program visiting Beijing, Xian, Zhangjiajie, Shanghai and Nanjing. We really enjoyed every location. The tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful. In Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing me made our own hotel reservation and in Xian an Zhangjiajie TCT made the reservations for us. Lunch was included in the tour and the selection of the restaurants was excellent in most locations (except Xian). Overall great tour!

I can't recommend this company enough!! I started talking to Yocky via the chat system on their website, as we wanted to do a 2.5 week trip around China. Our itinerary was: Shenzhen-Beijing-Xian-Kunming-Dongchuan-Chengdu-Guilin-Sanya Here's how things went: 1) She was instant in her replies and responded to subsequent emails within the hour (and trust me, I sent A LOT of emails). She was always so thorough and efficient. 2) She made us a tailor made trip that covered everything we wanted, including some slightly more off the beaten track attractions. 3) She helped us keep to our budget and suggested reasonable things we could cut out when things were too expensive (not something many companies would do as they are trying to make a quick buck). 4) She listened to all of our requests for things such as early morning flights, vegetarian food, and readjusting itineraries. 5) All our drivers and guides were EXCELLENT; they were prompt, kind, spoke excellent English and had a wealth of knowledge about all the sites we saw. All the cars on our private tours were nice and comfortable and had water. 6) Despite asking for 3* hotels, all 7 hotels we stayed in seemed like 4* to us and all included breakfast. 7) With such a large and complicated trip there were bound to be a few hiccups (e.g. there was a marathon in Xian one day which meant a lot of roads were closed, so we couldn't access sites). Yocky was in touch with us the entire time and helped us rearrange our plans quickly and ordered complimentary tickets to a show to make up for the inconvenience. We were so nervous about our first trip to China as we speak no mandarin and are strict vegetarian but honestly this was one of the best trips of our life; this company made it so easy for us and I really can't imagine having been able to do it myself any better!

Top China Travel provided an intense 15 day tour of China. Now that we look back we realize how much we accomplished. It was more expensive than a regular tour, but it was worth it. Very few local people actually understand and speak English, so having a guide to take us around was a great help. We had a different guide in each area, but all were great; Alex, Liang, Kellie, Annie, Gerry, Adam, among others, really made each city trip enjoyable. They provided an overall view of their area, including the main sights and picked an excellent restaurant for our lunches so we were able to sample lots of different local foods. We had a car just for us and the guide basically picked us up at the airport/train station and ended his assignment after checking us in for our flight/train ride to the following city in our itinerary. We couldn't have done everything we did had it not been for the organization of this custom tour. Only issue we had is that we were only 1 day in Xian and therefore missed the cultural night show since we arrived too late into Xian to make it that night; and the following day after touring the Terracotta Soldiers we left in the afternoon for our next stop. Would have liked to have been told about this famous show so we could have maybe rearranged something. Other than this, Top China Travel made our China experience a memorable one.

First of all I was a little nervous about planning my trip to China, I hate dealing with alot of paper work and all the excessive planning that goes into things. Joyce from TCT made the process extremely simple and easy so planning things was a breeze! I can really say I view Joyce as a true friend who helped make my trip unforgettable. All the people I dealt with on my trip to China- our guides-Ann in Beijing, David in Xi'an,Annie in Guilin treated us  more like family than customers and they were very thoughtful towards what the group wanted to do! Joyce even met us at our hotel in Guilin with gifts and took us around a little bit of Guilin on her own time, she even paid for the scorpion I tried (lol) This company's care towards people is something special and an honor to their beautiful country. I loved my trip to China and the best part was the people I met and friends I made a long the way! I definitely plan to return to China in the near future and would happily use Top China Travel again! Just sad we can only give them 5 stars- they deserve more!

I traveled Zhangjiajie with my wife. After finding TCT, I customized my travel with TCT. Vicky in TCT offered me a right plan that I was looking for. Travel guide, Victor was sincerely guided us and responded to our on-site requests. I left my earrings in the hotel and contacted Victor for it. With his help, Hotel sent it to me with one-day shipping and I received it safely. This made my travel more enjoyable with one more great memory. Zhangjiajie is must see place. I still remember breath-taking view. With kind people, it is more shiny.

Of all of the places in China we visited Guilin was our favourite. It was very scenic with its lush greenery and limestone hills. We took the 4 Lakes and 2 River cruise which I would highly recommend. On another night we walked along the lakes and rivers and crossed the bridges, we had cruised the night before. The lighting on the lakes and rivers as well as on the bridges was splendid. We also went on a 3.5 hour cruise on the Li River. My husband is an amateur photographer and he took roughly 300 pictures on the Li River cruise (just to give you an idea of how scenic it was).

My teenage daughter and I had the most wonderful experience visiting China for 15 days during the month of June. It was our first trip to China and it was absolutely one of the best trips that we have ever done! We visited Shanghai-Beijing-Xian-Guilin-Yangshuo and also the Longji Rice Terraced Fields and a couple of small towns to experience the everyday chinese life. This was a private tour, so we had a few requests when it came to hotels and other choices and what made this tour SIMPLY PERFECT was the help of Joyce from TCT -A wonderful, extremely professional tour coordinator, Joyce was in permanent contact with us regarding every matter of our tour, also providing us with train and flight information, options of tours and giving us the absolutely best suggestions when it came to choose our itinerary and even if for personal reasons we had to completely change the itinerary at the last minute, she was really accommodating and helpful. Her customer service was impeccable and her willingness to help had no limits! Once we arrived there,we never felt alone as all tours guides were just wonderful (Johnny, Linda, and Annie are simply the best!!), they were always on time waiting for us on our arrival at the train station or airport, always on time to pick us up at the hotels, always willing to answer questions and giving us the best suggestions in each of the cities we visited. Not only they provide us with tour explanations, history and interesting facts of each of the places we visited, what we really appreciated is that all the tour guides helped us during our check in at the hotels and stayed with us during our departure from each of the cities, at the train station and airports, which made us feel really safe and cared for. On a scale of 1 to 10 if I have to rate TCT I will definitely give them a perfect 10!! This was a very special trip for me and my daughter and TCT made this the absolutely perfect experience. I will have not one bit of a doubt to recommend them and to use them again on a future trip to China!

After much research we decided to go with Top China Travel for our 15 day trip to China. We worked with Janet and what a wonderful help she was. Janet answered our multitude of questions with patience. She offered helpful suggestions, helped us with our tour on the spot when a plane flight was cancelled, booked us outstanding hotels, and we had excellent service. They even called us and wondered if everything was going well in China. From the moment we touched down in China, our tour guides and drivers were right there for us showing us sights, answering questions, changing plans if we wanted to see other things, and helped us above and beyond what we expected. We went to Beijing, Xian, Xining, Lhasa, Chongqing, on a Yangtze River Cruise, visited Yichang and Shanghai. Quite the amazing trip. I would highly recommend Top China Travel for your travel needs to China. They were also reasonably priced. Thanks Top China Travel and Janet. What a trip!

My wife and I planned our two-week tour of China with Maggie of TCT to include Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xi'an and Beijing. We found her to be incredibly prompt and helpful in responding to our emails and flexible in altering the preliminary itinerary to meet our needs. TCT's guides in each of the cities were competent, personable young professionals, well-informed and able to make every day an exciting and knowledge-quenching experience. Again, they were also flexible, caring and responsive to our needs. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and compliment Maggie and TCT on their outstanding customer service and program quality.

Lily from Top China Travel and her staff provided us an amazing 15 day visit to China last month, which featured Guilin and Yangshuo besides other major China destinations. Our hotels, guides, drivers and itineraries all more than met our expectations. We had lots of opportunities to add to or modify our itineraries, which we did. Whatever any changes were made, our guides and drivers helped us with transport and purchasing of entries. The hotels were superb, as were the meals. I highly recommend using Top China Travel to anyone wishing an excellent visit to China.
