Tianxingqiao Scenic Resort is located six kilometers away from
Huangguoshu Waterfall. The most distinguished character of the scenic resort is its abundance in water, rocks, forests and caves, which compose a picturesque view for the visitors. It was among the first group of the national places of scenic and historic interest approved by the state. The beautiful scenery has attracted many tourists and it was one of the shooting sites of a famous Chinese TV "Pilgrimage to the West".
The Scenic Resort consists of three main areas: Tianxing Cave, 'Potted Landscape' on Water, and Stone Forest in Water.
Tianxing Cave
Situated in the center of Tianxingqiao scenic area, Tianxing Cave is a karst cave consisted by some natural formed chambers. This place is impressive, especially the four huge stelae rising from the floor to the ceiling. Calcium carbonate deposits create an abstract landscape of spectacular shapes about the cave.
Tianxing 'Potted Landscape' on Water
Tianxing 'Potted Landscape' is a fantastic place that made by the hands of Nature. Due to the wind and water erosion for a long time, this place looks like potted plants in various shapes and sizes, hence it got the name “Potted Landscape”. Walking across the river on winding stone paths zigzagging through the rocky hills is very interesting. Everyone can find their birthday on the stone paths.
Stone Forest in Water
With half of the forest in the water, while the other half of it stands above the water, Stone Forest in Tianxing Scenic Resort give you a splendid and charming view of the Nature. Tourists also can appreciate famous Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall and Xingxia Flying Waterfall in the area.
