The best time to visit
Anshun is from March to November. As the typical plateau type humid subtropical monsoon climate here, Anshun’s weather is mild, humid and cozy. The summer is not so hot and the winter is not so severe here. Especially in July and August, Anshun enters the wet season, and Huangguoshu Waterfall is very amazing with rich water.
Travel to Anshun in Spring
Anshun Spring starts at March. The weather becomes warmer and warmer influenced by southwest humid wind. The temperature between daytime and night is still distinctive. The average temperature in spring is between 10.2-17.6°C(51～63.6ºF). You still need to weak thick coat to prevent cold and keep warm.
In spring, as lots of flowers blossom in
Dragon Palace Cave Scenic Area, it is the best time to visit this attraction. There are various kinds of flowers such as golden rape flower, pink peach flower, white pear flower and pink peach flower. The Rape Flower Culture Tourism Festival is also held at the Dragon Palace in March.
Travel to Anshun in Summer
Entering summer, unlike other places, Anshun’s summer is not so hot. With the average temperature of 17-19°C (51～63.6ºF), the summer is moderate and cool in Anshun. It is also the wet season with rich rainfall. To appreciate the green hills and water in Anshun, summer is the best time to visit here. And you should never miss the Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is the most famous waterfall in China.
Travel to Anshun in Autumn
In autumn, the weather becomes cooler than summer. The average temperature in autumn is under 20 °C (68ºF). Some times it rains during autumn. Especially in October, the rain period, it rains a lot and suddenly.

Travel to Anshun in Winter
Anshun's winter is not so cold. The average temperature in November is 10.3-12.5°C（50-54.5ºF）. And in December, the weather becomes colder. In January, the average temperature is 4.2～6.7 °C (39.5-44ºF). As February is colder than January, it is the coldest month of the whole year.
If you travel to Anshun in winter, you should pack warm coats with you to prevent cold and strong wind.
