The months of April and May in Guangxi are rainy seasons. The average temperature of spring in Guangxi changes from 15℃ to 27℃.

Mt. Qingxiu (Nanning): it is the symbol of Nanning. Tourists can appreciate all sorts of tall and broad-leave arbors, epiphytes and liana as well as some other tropical plants.
 
Elephant Trunk Hill (Guilin): it is the badge of Guilin. The whole hill looks exactly like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water of the Li River. It is the masterpiece of karst landscape, composed of pure limestone deposited on seabed 360million years ago.

Travel to Guangxi in Summer

Summer is long with lots of rain in Guangxi. The average temperature of the hottest month July is about 27℃~29℃.

Longsheng Longji Rice Terraces (Guilin): it reached from Guilin by mountain roads amid spectacular scenery. the Rice Terraces in Longji village show a picture of great momentum and imposing beauty, being reputed as having no match in the world.

Detian Waterfall (Nanning): ranks as the largest waterfull in Asia and the second largest transnational waterfall in the world; it appears to be a sculpture made by nature.

Travel to Guangxi in Winter

Winter is short and dry with short duration of sunshine in Guangxi. The average temperature of the coldest month January is about 5.5℃~15.2℃.

Reed Flute Cave (Guilin): it mainly offers a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns, curtains and flowers in fantastic shapes and colors while appreciating landscape and rural scenery. 
Longsheng Hot Spring Center (Guilin): it is situated in a deep and tranquil valley and surrounded by mountains of dense vegetation. The water is good for drinking and bathing and its curative powers are effective for nerves, skin diseases, rheumatism, and arthritis.

Some Tips for Traveling in Guangxi

Summer in Guangxi has strong ultraviolet rays, please protect yourself from the sunburn and summer is also the rainy season. Please pay attention to bring umbrella in case of rain.
Detian Waterfall in Nanning and Li River in Guilin has large temperature difference in the daytime and night, please bring enough clothes to avoid catching cold.
