Take No. 7 public bus at Chengzhan(城战) bus stop around Hangzhou Train Station, get off at the Children’s Palace (少年宫)bus stop, then walk about 500 meters to West Lake.

Hangzhou East Train Station is in the northeast of West Lake. From Hangzhou East Train Station to West Lake, the distance is about 12 km, and travelers could take metro, public bus, or taxi to West Lake.
► Option 1: get to West Lake from Hangzhou East Train Station by metro:
Take metro Line 1 ( to Xianghu direction) from Hangzhou East Train Station to Longxiang Bridge (龙翔桥站), throught 6 stops, get out from Exit C, Longxiang Bridge, then walk about 400 m to West Lake.
► Option 2: : get to West Lake from Hangzhou East Train Station by public bus:
Take No. 28 public bus at Xizhan around Hangzhou East Train Station to Shengli Xinchu bus stop, through 10 stops, and walk about 1.5 km to West Lake.

► Hangzhou metro
Hangzhou Metro Line 1 shuttles between Xianghu metro station(湘湖站)and Linping metro station(临平站), and its service time is from 6:00 to 22:40. From Xianghu metro station to Linping metro station, it takes about 1 hour.
Hangzhou Metro Line 1 goes through Hangzhou East Train Station, and Hangzhou Train Station, and it takes passengers to West Lake at Fengqilu(凤起路) metro station, and to Hangzhou Airport at Jianglinglu(江陵路) metro station.
