Guilin Tourist Information Center (GTIC) is a government-affiliated tourism institution. It was established in 1994 by the Guilin Municipal Tourism Bureau. The main responsibility of Guilin Tourism Information Center is to the last and most authoritative professional comprehensive tourist information to visitors for free. The mission of GTIC is to make the most of the social contributions of the tourism industry to the economy development in Guilin and to make tourist journey to Guilin a impressive lifetime memory.

Consulting Service
Main responsibilities: providing tourist information to foreign visitors, publicizing national policies and regulations of tourism industry and solving problems and difficulties that visitors encounter while in Guilin tour.

Seven Tourist Booths of GTIC in Guilin Downtown

How to get there: take bus No. 1, No. 10 or No.22 to Yishu Guan (Art Museum) or Lize Qiao (Lize Bridge) bus stop, and ask a local for the exact way to the booth.
 
 
Central Square in downtown Guilin
How to get there: take bus No. 1, No. 22 to Zhongxin Guangchang (Central Square) bus stop, and walk for a few minutes to get there.
 
 
Nanmen Bridge
How to get there: take bus No.1 or No. 2 to Nanmen Qiao(South Gate Bridge) bus stop, and walk along the Zhong shan Road for a few minutes to get there. It is near the Guilin Main Bus Station.

Guilin Municipal Tourism Bureau

Guilin Municipal Tourism Burea is fictional department of the Guilin Municipal People’s Government. It was established on 24th, May 1984. The bureau is in charge of administrating and operating related affairs of Tourism in Guilin. The main responsibilities of the bureau are drafting out the policies and rules for the local tourism development, working out tourism regulations, standards or criterion of the quality of tourism service, drawing up the annual program and pushing the implementation of the general planning in tourism industry development.
