He wrote more than 240 poems at this cottage.

Located in the southern suburb of Chengdu, Wuhou Temple was first built in 265 during the Western Jin Dynasty in memory of Zhuge Liang, prime minister in charge of the Kingdom of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280). It is the largest museum of the site left over from the Three Kingdoms Period, and a very quiet oasis in the city.

This system still plays an indispensable function in agriculture. Beside, Dujiangyan survived from the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake because of its firm structure. So it really deserves a visit.

15 km far from Dujiangyan Irrigation System, Mt. Qingcheng is an ancient cradle of Taoism in China. The mountain has numerous Taoist temples and sites along the paths to its peak. The area is green all year round and is known for its secluded tranquility.

Sichuan Opera is staged in a local tea house, so during the show you may enjoy tea and snacks.
