Day 2

Chengdu

Today, enjoy your interesting tour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (2 - 3 hours) - a huge institution replicates the natural habitat of the giant panda . And then, back to downtown for your continue short trip to Thatched Cottage of Du Fu (1 hour) - the former residence of the famous Tang Dynasty poet, You could not miss a chance to Jinli Old Street (1 hour) - elegant style of the architectures tells you what Sichuan looks like during the Qing Dynasty. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Day 3

Chengdu

Jiuzhaigou Airport

Today take a 1 hour flight to Jiuzhaigjou Valley (average altitude at 2930 m) in the morning. After landing, your travel guide will wait for you at the airport. You will be transferred to the hotel for some well-deserved rest.

► We are glad to have your attention to the altitude of Jiuzhaigou (2930m above sea level). If you have uncomfortable feelings during your Jiuzhaigou tour, tell your guide as soon as possible.
► The high altitude may cause big temperatures differences between day and night. Better to prepare some long-sleeve clothes when stay night there.

► Chengdu downtown - Chengdu Airport: 20km, 50min driving
Jiuhuang Airport - Jiuzhaigou Valley area: 130km, 3 hours driving

► If you choose early morning flight from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou (arrival before 8:30 a.m.), Huanglong National Park can be added in this day. It is on the way between Jiuzhaigou Airport and Jiuzhaigou Valley area.

Detailed arrangement can be:

1. Drive from Jiuzhaigou Airport to Huanglong Scenic Area: 56km, 2.5 hours

2. Sightseeing in Huanglong Scenic Area (3 - 4 hours according to your requirement) - also famous for its colorful ponds, snowy mountains, deep valleys, and dense forest.

3. Drive from Huanglong Scenic Area to your hotel in Jiuzhaigou Valley Area: 140km, 5 hours driving

Day 4

Jiuzhaigou Valley

After breakfast in the hotel, drive to the Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area. Enjoy your whole day time for the excursion in this fairy land . The generally sightseeing time is 8 hours in this scenic area, including the lunch time in the only restaurant inside the valley. When finish this tour, drive back to the hotel and feel of the rest day.

► Recommended Jiuzhaigou Valley 1 Day Sightseeing Routes from us is:

1. After entering into the entrance, taking the sightseeing bus to visit Rize Valleysites including Panda Lake, Five Flowers Lake, and Pearl Shoals

2. And then walking to the Pearl Shoals Waterfall (about 1 km).

3. Have you lunch at tourist Center in Nuorilang.

4. After that, continue to visit Zechawa Valleyto see Long Lake, and walking about 1.2km to take photos of Five Colored Pool.

5. When finish that, walking for another 1km to the parking lot for bus to leave the scenic area.

► The sight-seeing shuttle bus is provided by the park, with seating capacity of 28-47 seats. It is quite crowded during the travel season.

► Lunch served in Nuorilang Tourist Center is buffet in general level

Day 5

Jiuzhaigou

Chengdu

After breakfast in the hotel, drive to the Jiuzhaigou Airport for your 1 hour back flight to Chengdu. Your Chengdu travel guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to check in the hotel. After that, you can have a half Chengdu city tour including a visit to Kuan Zhai Alley (1 hour) - a cultural site consisting of 45 Qing Ming Dynasty style courtyards, modern villas and gardens, as well as theme hostels. When finish this tour, drive back to the hotel and feel of the rest day.

Optional Night Activities: Sichuan Opera (generally 2 hours)

1. Airport/railway station welcome and private transfers between airports/railway stations, hotels and sightseeing spots. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

2. Domestic airfare of economic class or train ticket(s) as mentioned in the itinerary. Airport construction fee and fuel surcharge are included.

3. Accommodation (if include Yangtze cruiser) based on two adults sharing one standard twin-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate (S.SUPP in above price table). A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar one.

4. Driver and English-speaking guide service on normal sightseeing activities noted in the itinerary.

5. All entrance fees to scenic spots as shown in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TopChinaTravel. TCT will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
