Day 3

Kunming

Dali

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a 40-50min flight to Dali, the ancient political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan area. Upon arrival, your tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help your to check your hotel in Dali. After lunch, you can have a visit to Dali Ancient Town (1 hour) - which is featured by the unique traditional Bai ethnic folk houses. Continue to visit Three Pagodas (1.5 hours) - the symbol of the history of Dali. After that, drive back to the your hotel and free of the rest day.

Dali

Today, after breakfast, you will first be transferred to the pier and take an Erhai Cruise (3 hours) - ranked the second in Yunnan Province and the seventh freshwater lake in China by area and water storage. for relaxing. Then in the afternoon, then visit Xizhou Bai's Houses (30min) - not only the birthplace of Bai minority people but also a famous hometown to overseas Chinese in Yunnan. After that, drive back to the your hotel and free of the rest day.

► About Erhai Lake Cruise:
    Boarding place: Longkan Pier (Cruising time 1.5 hours and islet sightseeing time 1.5 hours)
    Briefing route: drive to the Longkan Pier before 9:00 a.m. and get on the ship (sometimes you need to wait for a while if the tourists on the ship less than 10 people) - cruising to the Jinleng Islet and do sightseeing there including village visiting, local school visiting, etc. - back to the ship and continue to cruise on the lake - cruising back to Longkan Pier and get off the ship

Dali

Lijiang

Today will be a little tired because we need to spend about 3.5 - 4 hours driving from Dali to Lijiang, an exceptional ancient town set in a dramatic landscape which represents the harmonious fusion of different cultural traditions to produce an urban landscape of outstanding quality. Your Lijiang tour guide will wait for you and help you to check in the hotel. And then, take a short visit in Lijiang Ancient Town (1 - 2 hours) - walk down the cobblestone streets over 700 years and see the Naxi way of life which changed little over time. After that, drive back to the your hotel and free of the rest day.

Day 6

Lijiang

In the morning drive about half an hour to visit Jade Dragon Sown Mountain (3.5 hours) - a treasure of wild plants and rare animals, are like a silver dragon lying in the clouds. After lunch, visit Yufeng Temple (30min) - a distinctive and conjunct architecture style of Han Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism and the local Naxi Dongba Religion. After that, go to see the Baisha Mural (30 min) - the cradle of the Naxi culture and ancient capital of the Naxi Kingdom. After this tour, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest day.

Lijiang

Tiger Leaping Gorge

Shangri-La

In the morning, we will firstly take 1.5 hours driving from Lijiang to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. On the way, you will have a short stop of the First Bend of the Yangtze River for taking some photos. After that continue to drive, your Shangri-La tour guide will wait for you at the Qiaotou Village and accompany with you to have a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge (3 hours) - one of the finest treks through some of the most naturally beautiful and diverse landscapes China. After this trip, continue another 1.5 hours driving to Shangri-La, a place with stunning scenery, the azure sky and the hospitality of unsophisticated people. When arrival, have a rest of this day.

Shangri-La

Today, begin your exciting tour with a visit to Songzanlin Lamasery (2 hours), the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, then visit Potatso National Park (4 hours) - the first national park in mainland China offers a closer distance for travelers to experience the natural environment. After this trip, drive back to your hotel and have rest of this day.

Kunming

In the morning after breakfast, take an hour flight from Shangri-La back to Kunming. On arrival, you tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to check in the hotel. After lunch, take a visit to Golden Temple (40 min) - also know as Jindian Park is famous for the representative Taihe Temple which is a Taoist temple. Continue to have a visit to Grand View Tower (1 hour) - also called Daguan Park which sits on the shore of Dianchi Lake. And then, you can have a leisure walking in the Flower and Bird Market (1 hour) - the local market in Kunming fo you to see more about the daily life scenes of this city. After that, drive you back to your hotel and have a rest of this day.
