Kuqa Museum is located inside the Kuqa Palace which was first built in 1759 by Qing government in praise of local Uighur leader who had settled the rebellion. In the museum, visitors can find unearthed relics of Qiuci Kingdom including murals, Buddhist figures and ancient coins.
