Badaling Wildlife Park

Badaling Wildlife Park is a largest mountain zoo of wildlife in Beijing, China. This wildlife park is a large Ecological Park built at the hillside. It covers an area of 6,000 mu. And it is located at the foot of the world-famous Badaling Great Wall, near Badaling Expressway. It takes only 40 minutes by car from Beijing downtown area, with convenient transportation.

There are more than ten thousand heads wild animals with hundred of species. Along the winding tour route, visitors walk into a sea of mountain and forest. You can see iconic animals from different countries of all over the world gathered in this park, including the largest African lions group in China, White Tiger from the Americas, strong Siberian tigers, fierce bears with strong body, petite funny sun bears; pandas, national treasure of China, golden monkey, golden yak horn antelope, alert and vigorous clouded leopards, leopards, African giraffe, wildebeest, oryx, Australian kangaroo and other many wild animals.

Badaling Wildlife Park is near to the Great Wall, the Great Wall. When the spring comes, flowers blooms and leaves turns red in autumn, rendering the colorful scenery of seasons. Soaked in such beautiful scenery, the wildlife here show vigorous vitality. The animals and the surrounding environment harmoniously form a picture of a wild nature. Beijing Badaling Wildlife Park is one of largest wild animal breeding base in China. There are more than 100 African lions, more than 20 tigers, more than 20 Siberian tiger breeding successfully here.

Cool natural environment, great breeding conditions and strong technical team make the animals living here like living back to where their ancestors once lived. This is a large ecological park, it reflects the symbiotic relationship between humans, animals and nature in harmony, and encourages people to be more consciously to protect those lovely creatures. The most amazing thing is that it is located at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall.

Different leisure recreation area is located in the park with multi-faceted establishment. A Commercial Street located in Park Gate area is set for shopping and dining for tourists. A square located in the southwestern part of the park is set for rest and sunbathing for visitors. A planning resort is located in the northwest of the park, with a capacity of 300 people, a three-star hotel and 30 villas. Visitors can temporarily leave the hustle and bustle of city life and have a leisure time here.

Transportation	From Deshengmenwai in Beijing downtown area, you can take the bus 919 or 880 bus and get off at Badaling Wild Animal World. Then walk 200 meters to get there. Deshengmenwai is 60 km from the park. From Xizhimen, you can take EMU S2 Line sightseeing train at Xizhimen Station and get off the train to Badaling Station. Then Walk 1 km to the west to get to the park.
