How Many Train Stations are There in Wuhan?

Wuhan is one of the biggest cities in the middle of China. There are three main passenger stations in Wuhan, that is, Wuhan Railway Station, Hankou Railway Station and Wuchang Railway Station.

Hankou Railway Station is the oldest train station in Wuhan city. It is sited in the bustling area of the city. The address of it is Development Avenue, Jianghan District, Hankou Country, Wuhan. It is the largest European-style train station in China. It services high-speed MU trains and ordinary trains. These trains are mainly for the east-west direction train as well as Beijing-Guangzhou and Han-dan line trains. How to get to Hankou Railway Station? Hankou Railway Station

Built in 1916, Wuchang Railway Station is located on the east side of Zhongshan Road in Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. It is a main railway station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, the Wuhan-Jiujiang Railway and the Hankou-Danjiangkou Railway. Therer are local train as well as high-speed MU trains going trough Wuchang railway station. There are 3 floors in the station building. The 1st floor is used for Exit, Groups of Passengers Entrance and Baggage Counter; the 2nd floor is used for Public Waiting Area 1-2, as well as the four Special Waiting Areas; the 3rd floor is used for Public Waiting Area 3-8.


Compared with other train stations in Wuhan, Wuhan Railway Station is a high-speed rail station in the city. It mainly operates high-speed rail trains and MU trains. It is sited in the suburban area in Hongshan District. There are 11 platforms and 20 tracks in the station, and it serves the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, the Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu High-Speed Railway, and Zhengzhou/Jiujiang-bound passenger trains. It is a beautiful train station with one basement and 4 floors followed by underground parking lot, ground floor of the station, platform layer, waiting layer, business services supporting layer. The easiest way to travel to Wuhan Train Station is to take Subway Line 2 or Subway Line 4.
