Tongli Water Town is located in Zhongchuang road, Wujiang district, Suzhou, Jiangsu province. It is in the south of Suzhou, 20 kilometers from Suzhou, in the west of Shanghai, about 80 kilometers away from Shanghai, and in the north of Jiaxing, about 55 kilometers away from Jiaxing. There is convenient transportation from these three places to Tongli Water Town. Tongli Water Town is one of the top six ancient towns in Jiangnan, facing Tongli lake in the east, and close to Lake Tai in the west of Suzhou.
Zhouzhuang Water Town is also one of the op six ancient towns in Jiangnan. It is located in Quanfu road, Zhouzhuang, Kunshan, Jiangsu province. It is about 40 kilometers away from Kunshan downtown, 50 kilometers away from Suzhou downtown, and 85 kilometers away from Shanghai downtown.
The distance between Tongli Water Town and Zhouzhuang Water Town is only about 18 kilometers. There are some transportation information for your reference, listed as follow:
Option 1: By Taxi
Considering the distance between two places is only 18 kilometers, you could take a taxi, which takes about 30 minutes and costs about 60 yuan. Taxi is the most convenient and fastest option for you, especially when you have two or three tour partners.
Option 2: By Bus
Visitors are able to take public bus No.758 to there. It takes about 1.5 hours. You walk about 1 kilometer to Zhouzhuang Jiangze bus stop, take No.758 public bus, get off at Tongli Bus Station, then walk about 700 meters to Tongli Water Town scenic spot. No.758 public bus from Jiangze to Tongli starts at 06: 00 and ends at 18:00, and from Tonglli to Jiangze, it starts at 06:30 and ends at 18:00, with a ticket of 1 yuan or 2 yuan. 2 yuan ticket is for the bus with air-conditioner. It takes about 40 minute travelling between this two places.
Option 3: Car Rental
