Qingdao Transport

Qingdao is located in the southeast of the Shandong Peninsula. Its east and south are bordered by the Yellow Sea, its northeast is adjacent to Yantai City, its west is connected with Weifang City, its southwest is bordering Rizhao City. Transportation in Qingdao is developed whether by plane, train, or automobile.

Qingdao Liuting International Airport is 32 kilometers from the city center. It is the second-largest airport in east China after Shanghai. Its routes extend in all directions. It has flights arrive and depart more than 30 cities across the country. Also, it has been opened international and regional passenger routes to Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka in Japan, Seoul in Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong, Macau, etc.

Railway
Qingdao has daily trains to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jinan, Taishan, Heze, Yantai, Weihai, Wuchang, Nanchang, Xuzhou, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, Taiyuan, Dandong, Tonghua and other places. Except the trains to Zibo, Yantai and Weihai, all the other trains here pass Jinan City. Every day, Beijing has six bullet trains arrive and depart Qingdao. Qingdao Railway Station Square has minibuses sent to Weihai, Yantai and Penglai. In the long-distance bus line terminal, there are coaches to Jinan through Jiqing Highway which only spend you 4.5 hours and cost you 79 yuan.

Qingdao's public transportation is very convenient and easily accessible. The buses are pay-to-the-driver buses. The ordinary bus charges 1 yuan and the air-conditioned bus charges 2 yuan. The buses No. 26, No. 201, No. 202 are running along the beach, passing many attractions in Qingdao. There are three dedicated senior luxurious air-conditioned tourist buses which are well equipped with a professional guide service.

Taxi
Taxi in Qingdao is divided into standard and luxury models and mainly is Santana and Jetta. The pricing of the standard taxi starts at 9 yuan inside 3 km and additional 1.40 yuan / km beyond 3 km; the pricing of the luxury taxi starts at 12 yuan inside 3 km and additional 1.90 yuan / km beyond 3 km. There is no bunker adjustment factor.
