Nanning Transport

Nanning is located along the coast, the border, the highway and the river, and the transportation is very convenient. 

External Transportation

Nanning Wuxu International Airport is located in Wuxu Township in Yongning County, 32 kilometers away from Nanning City. There are direct routes to major domestic cities and Hong Kong, Hanoi, Bangkok and other cities. The airport has shuttle buses every day from the airport to downtown. The departure time of the shuttle buses from the airport is depended on the time of the flights from 5:30 a.m. until last flight in the evening, fare 15 yuan / person.

 

From downtown to the airport, standing in Nanning originating air ticket (near Nanning Railway Station), from departure form 5:30 to 19:00, directly to the airport. In addition, many hotels have Shuttle Bus Service. Visitors can also take No. 301 Bus, which runs between downtown and the airport, fare 2 yuan / person. If you take a taxi from the city to the airport, you can discuss the price with the driver, generally from 40 to 50 Yuan, driving about 40 minutes.

 

Nanning Railway connects Hunan-Guangxi Railway, Guizhou-Guangxi Railway, Likan Railway, Nanning-Fangchenggang Railway, Nanning-Kunming Railway and other tracks. Its north links the main domestic tracks, east leads to Zhanjiang and Guangzhou, south leads to Qinzhou, Fangcheng, Beihai, and southwest connecting Hanoi in Vietnam.

 

Nanning Raiway Station is located at the middle section of Zhonghua Road with very convenient transportation. At the bus station nearing railway station, you can take bus to Mingzu Square, Wuxu Airport and several long-distance bus terminals.

Nanning is only 204 km, 104 km and 172 km away respectively to Beihai, Qinzhou, Fangchenggang City, and just over 180 km from the Sino-Vietnamese border. Nanning’s highways include 209 State Road, 210 State Road, 322 State Road, 324 State Road, 325 State Road and Yu Zhan (Chongqing - Guiyang - Nanning - Zhanjiang) and Heng Kun line (Hengyang - Nanning - Kunming) and other eight national road which can reach all cities, counties in Guangxi and major cities and regions in China.

 

There are a total of seven long-distance bus terminals in Nanning. They are hours of operation are between 6:00 and 23:00. Langdong Passenger Terminal and Passenger Terminal are the city's two main passenger stations. There are buses to Guilin, Liuzhou, Yulin, Beihai, Fangchenggang, Qinzhou, Guigang, etc. The buses depart in every 15 to 30 minutes. Among buses to other provinces, there are mainly buses to Guangzhou and Shenzhen.  

 

 

Internal Transportation

Nanning’s public transport is very well developed. Most of the buses are unmanned vehicles, fare of 1 Yuan. There are also air-conditioned shuttle buses, 2 Yuan/person. The bus’s operator time is generally from 6:00 to 23:00.　　

 

Nanning’s taxies are mainly in red color and charge by meter.
