Located in the subtropical zone and South of the Tropic of Cancer, Nanning has a humid subtropical monsoon climate with plenty of sunshine and rainfall and without any snow. Its Winter is relatively short while Summer is long, so it is warm for most of the time with a mean yearly temperature of 21.6℃. Its lowest monthly average temperature is 12.8℃ in January and the warmest period is in July and August when the average temperature reaches 28.2℃. Hot and humid are the main climate features. What to Wear

Warm clothes are recommended for winter-wear, while in spring and autumn something lighter with a woollen sweater will be comfortable. T-shirts with skirts, shorts or slacks are the best choice for summer when the temperature can be rather high. Summer is the rainy season, especially in May and June, so bring an umbrella. Comfortable footwear suitable for walking is a must all year round.

It would be wise to bring sun block and insect repellent with you.
