Extension and Renovation

Built in 1965, Liuzhou South Station is located in Liuzhou, a southwest industrial city. It is responsible for the arrival, disintegration, grouping and starting tasks of the three major trunk freight trains of Xianggui, Guigui and Jiaoliu line.
 

Since the start of the expansion project of Xianggui Railway at the end of 2008, the Liuzhou South Marshalling Station will be expanded to the scale of the two-way three- class six-fields project in line with this project.
 

A new locomotive turnaround depot of Liuzhou South is built between the ascending arrival field and the downgoing starting field. Recently added two section lines in Liuzhou Station - Liuzhou South. The departure line of the passenger train is taken from Liuzhou Railway Station. The design needs to build a new road bridge across the new downlink starting field and change the road.
 

On the morning of March 20, 2015, the departure system of Liuzhou South Station welcomed its first freight train of 52,021, marking the official operation of the third-class and sixth-field of Liuzhou South Station, which lasted three years of construction and reconstruction.
 

With the development of Guangxi's regional economy and the continuous increase of foreign trade freight, the original design handling capacity of the station has been unable to meet the needs of social transportation. In order to break the "bottleneck" of Guangxi railway transportation, in March 2012, the station carried out the renovation of three levels and six fields, and the line number of the station was increased from 66 to 127, making it one of the 17 regional marshalling stations in the country.
