Yaoli Ancient Town

Yaoli Ancient Town, means a town inside a kiln, is named because it is the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. Reputed as “the birthplace of ceramics, the hometown of tea, the sea of the forest”, it the famous historic cultural town. The village is built along the river. Since the ancient time, it has been a good place as a resort. The clean river has never been polluted so that it is easily to see fish in the river till now.

Inside the village, visitors can see the typical Hui-style architectures called “Three Carvings” - Lion Carving Garden and Chan’s Family Temple, the prosperous commercial relics - Ming and Qing Dynasties Street, Huizhou Ancient Road, etc.

The ancient kiln house is built in elaborate style. This factory is surrounded by mountains and river. Connecting with the Ming and Qing dynasties folk architectural style, people inside here may have a feeling inside the cultural central of the Jingdezhen ceramic.

Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum

Located in east Jingdezhen City, Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum was open in 1984. It is inside the Hutian Ancient Kiln Relics Reserve Area. This museum aims to collect, research, display the ancient cultural relics of Jingdezhen folk kiln culture.

Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum covers an area of 4,600 square meters, was open to public since 1984. It is a specialized museum that shows people the development of Chinese ceramic. From early 1st century, this museum collects more than 2,500 precious ceramics masterpieces, and exhibits them in 5 exhibition halls in chronological/category orders.
