The best time to travel in Hunan is in spring and autumn, especially from April to June.

Travel to Hunan in Spring

Spring in Hunan is moist and rainy, especially during March and April days, and the weather changes a lot in this season. Average temperature is likely to be 15 ºC-25 ºC.

Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve: located in Zhangjiajie. It is a stream flows through the mountain gully and many high peaks in various forms on both sides of gully shrouded in drifting mist look like a group of nature sculptures.

Summer is long and extremely hot in Hunan. Sometimes it may rain heavily, which usually causes floods. The average temperature is higher than 28ºC. Drifting or having boat tour on the lake can be an interesting journey.
