Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is a key project of the eighth five-year plan of China. The whole investigation for the airport was 1,850milm. It started construction in July, 1993, and completed on Oct.1, 1996.

 

It has a 2800m long, 45m wide 4D Level runway from south to north, 1 Parallel taxiway and a 150,000 square meters’ ramp with 20 aprons. The area of freight library is more than 6200 square meters. It also equipped with GPS, communication, monitor and logistical support systems, offering 24 hrs’ service. The waiting hall of the airport has two floors, covering and area of over 50,000 square meters. There are 8 boarding bridges and 8 delivery belt of baggage. There are also commercial food and beverage and rental services in the waiting hall which covers about 6086 square meters.
