The Travel of Leshan Giant Buddha

When I was facing the Biggest Mille sitting Buddha of this world----the Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan, China, piety fill of my heard with worshipsights.

Walking into Leshan Giant Buddha and approached it, has always been my desire for many years. We are now taking boat come to the Buddha’s feet. Here is the infall of Ming river, Qingyi river and Dadu river., the strong currents rushing toward to the Lingyun Mt. , Lingyun which Giant Buddha carved made from the Qixia peak of this Mt. the Buddha is with expression magnanimousness and serious face., towering momentum feet into three rivers and sky atop.

There are two ways to worship the Buddha; one is climb up to the top of Mt, and whisper lightly in the Buddha ear, telling past the world of mortals and the vicissitudes throughout the ages. I thought Buddha is lofty and divine, but everything is so friendly and peaceful when you come closely to it. Just like communication in the difference space that human beings and Buddha combines. There is no Buddha in this words, ancient people create Buddha and gave a real form to it for a kind of spiritual world of good. During a faraway days, Master—Haitong from the Linyun temple of ancient Jiazhou, purduing beings, wandering the world, raising funds to carved this Giant Buddha for blocking flows so that can protect passing boats and people people built this giant Buddha from

Looking at the people, Leshan Giant Buddha in laughter as a background and become a shadow in the photo which make me feel regret. Few people are willing to ponder before the history and the soul touches in a moment before the Buddha. Buddha is in mind not a image so that I seldom take a picture every time before the Buddha, only keep it in my heart mostly. Buddhism is profound, disseminating the morals truth that how to be a human in a world. It inherit thousands of years the prosperity of the same is human could not understand. We only can learn some basis knowledge in its edge which is nonchalance and mind training Facing the giant Buddha, I clearly feel a static flavor, a deep connotation. Buddhism has detached and became comprehensive knowledge of thoughts, the literature and art, and so on

Down along the hole sky at left side of the giant Buddha, we come and stay on the feet of the Buddha. Looked up to it which is 71 meters high revealing its magnificence, only a Buddha foot can accommodate one hundred people. Well-built, broad chest, visually telling a compatible Buddha’s mind. Gazing for a long time, I found human are so tiny while the Buddha stands here for thousands of years. He have seen human sour and sweet, witnessed the dynasty changes and years transmigration. Although I am so close to the Buddha, but hear the cutting stone voice in thousand years ago. The ancients completed this masterpiece with the creativity and tenacity, had to say this is eternal faith.

Ancients using simple production tools which has left us a lot of amazing, 1021 stone screw Bob, and the giant Buddha's ears and those sinks around it, combining together which solve the drainage function, aresist frost , snow and rain in one thousand of erosion, save completely till now. I choose the second route for worship ----by boat.

The wind blowing slowly, thoughts is closely and farm, this moment before the Buddha another moment in the cloud. I only can worship Buddha far away which can stretch open my mind, just like the strong currents of three rivers rushing toward to the Buddha for baptism regeneration. I kneel in mind, in front of the great mercy Buddha, rethinking the past and future. Man’s nature at birth is good, a more than the sunshine, a more than love, our society will develop with more harmony and healthy.

Remote worship is over in the round way of the sailing by boat, boat is faded away, look at again the giant Buddha and the Mt, it was a sculpture of Buddha, and the Buddha is a Mt, you can not get this shock without coming here, and this experience will become a kind of strength when this feeling full of our blood. Lonely temple and lights in the memory, simple birth and death, the karma has a new annotation in this summer day of July. Buddha sea boundless, Le sage water , benevolent Leshan, it is In earth and heaven above and great awakening when worship the giant Buddha in this world. Best of life just like a wave, around the boat, keeps forward.

If this will end my leshan giant trip, that's not enough because when the boat comes to a further place, I look out from a special angle and found a more unique of miracle which made by the WuYou Mt., LingYun Mt and Guicheng Mt. combining together. This miracle is Wuyou Mt as the head, Lingyun Mt as the body and Guicheng Mt as the leg to combine into a huge sleeping Buddha, laying quietly on the river. And the giant Buddha is located at the heart region of the sleeping Buddha, this perfect pure natural wonder is the unintentional coincidence of nature, a miracle of a match made in heaven. A sleeping Buddha, a sitting Buddha, one is nature and another is manmade, leading people to the Buddhist paradise

I don’t wanna to leave, except stay in the Buddhist world, lying quietly n the centre of the palm Buddha, listening its sound .
