Day 1Arrival Phnom Penh

Upon arriving in Phnom Penh, you will be greeted at the airport by local guide and transferred to your hotel. You will have free time before dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay in Phnom Penh.
 

Day 2Phnom Penh

We will take a city tour of Phnom Penh, including the Silver Pagoda, on the south side of the Royal Palace, known as Wat Preah Keo. Then go to visit the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide. The last stop is Wat Phnom, which is the tallest religious structure in the city. Then discover to the Khmer traditonal culture at National fine-art Museum. You will be dropped off at hotel after the visit. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 3Phnom Penh Siem Reap

In the morning take a domestic flight to Siem Reap. Upon arriving in Siem Reap, drive to the ecological site and visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon, Baphoun, the Terrace of the Leper King and more. You will experience the world wonder of Angkor Wat and bask in the sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill. Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments in the world.

Day 4Siem Reap

Visit the highlights of the petit circuit, including Prasat Kravan, the royal bathing pond of Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo and the jungle-clad Ta Prohm. After lunch, continue to visit magnificent Angkor Wat to see its architecture and bas relief.  Visit the highlights of the grand circuit, including Neak Poan, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Preah Khan. Dinner with traditional dance show. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 5Siem Reap Luang Prabang

After breakfast, have a boat excursion to view wonderful landscape of Tonle Sap Great Lake and explore local fishermen’s floating villages. Return to the town for lunch and at leisure in the afternoon for shopping until transfer to the airport for your own departure flight for Luang Prabang. If time is enough when you arrive, you can explore the local Night Market, where you can find lovely textiles made by the local hill tribe people from areas surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 6Luang Prabang

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning alms giving ritual to saffron clad monks. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving this procession. Stop and visit fresh local markets and back to hotel for breakfast.

This morning, depart to visit Wat Visoun, the site of impressive Thad Makmo stupa. The rounded dome is stylistically more Sinhalese than Lao.  Continue to visit Wat Aham. Then, visit to the most photographed temple, Wat Xiengthong. Located at the end of peninsular closed to the confluence of Mekong and Khan River.

This afternoon, continue to former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Visit Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief. During Pimai, the Lao New Year, the Prabang normally housed in the Royal Palace Museum is brought and put on public display in this temple.

Day 7Luang Prabang

This morning transfer to the pier where you board a traditional long trail boat, for a relaxing cruise upstream on the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy stunning mountain scenery and witness the simple rural lifestyles. You will reach Pak Ou caves at the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers. In these 2 caves are displayed hundreds of sacred centuries-old Buddha images which are the object of pilgrimages during the Lao New Year festivities around mid-April. Cruise back Luang Prabang. Stop and visit Ban Xangkhong, a weaving village, where you can jump into wooden looms with local expert for practical and experience.

This afternoon, driving through green rice paddies and farms. On your arrival at the Kuang Si waterfall, enjoy your short walking on trails of falls to visit the bear rescued centre. Enjoy spectacular views and surrounding of orchids inside the park and falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. Return to Luang Prabang.
