Top China Tour-Joyce Tang was our tour coordinator and I can only have praises for her professionalism, her attention to details, and accommodations to make our lifelong dream of visiting china a memorable experience. Joyce listened to our needs and made recommendations and tailored the tour to fit our schedule. We spent 9 days visiting Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. The daily schedule was perfect which allowed us to see all the highlights as well as enough time to spend on our own to explore the local culture. I would not hesitate to contact Joyce for our next trip to China.

It was very well planned trip by TCT. All the arrangements like hotel stay, pick up drop were perfect. The tour I had for Xian was fun, our group also had a English speaking guide which was the best...The other day I had a private tour of Xian city with a guide..the guide was humble, polite and he showed me most beautiful places across the city and also TCT arranged awesome yummy Chinese lunch for me!!! The consultant I got from TCT was simply the best...she answered almost all of my questions very well...I bothered her every now and then but she always helped me to clear all my doubts.. Overall an awesome experience with TCT...looking forward for other trips with them.

My daughter and I recently did a private 13 day tour with TCT starting in Beijing and ending in Shanghai. We went to Xian, Guilin and on a 3 night Yangtze river cruise. I did a lot of research before using TCT as last year we had a very bad experience with a tour company in Morocco which really spoiled our whole holiday. Obviously doing a private tour is much more expensive but well worth the money. From the beginning my dealings with Bonnie were so personal. It was so nice to be met at airports/stations by a private guide and drivers. I loved the fact that the guides did all the check-ins at airports and at the station for the Bullet train from Beijing to Xian. I was so glad that Linda could accompany us right to the waiting room at station as there were thousands of people at the station and it could have been quite overwhelming. All the hotels that we stayed in were above my expectations for China. All our guides and drivers were very attentive and enthusiastic . We are vegetarians and all the guides made sure that they helped us find food at lunch time. Linda our guide in Beijing wrote a note saying we were vegetarians which we used in the evenings at restaurants for the whole trip. At the great wall of China we went up the chair lift and tobogganed down. My only criticism would be that we would have preferred to go up with the cable car and then walk all the way along the wall to the toboggan ride. Unfortunately when we said we want to toboggan down the guide decided that we should go up the chair lift as it is closer to the toboggan. I felt that we did not have enough time on the wall. My advice is for the guide to give all the options as the walk from the cable car is quite long and not everybody might want to walk so far. The Terracotta warriors were another highlight of the trip. Lucy we loved your selfie app....we want it too :) We loved the Li river cruise in Guilin and our guide Michelle even brought us a special vegetarian packed lunch as often the cruise does not have vegetarian options for lunch. She was so attentive on the cruise and pointed out all the special highlights of the cruise, something I did not see all the other guides doing. On our flight from Xian to Guilin there was not vegetarian option for us. I mentioned this to Bonnie and she then arranged that when we flew from Guilin to Chongqing that Cherry, who met us at the airport to take us to the Boat Cruise, had a vegetarian meal for us. Also when we disembarked in Yichang, Victor also brought along a vegetarian packed lunch for us. Jakob our guide in Shanghai practically became our family in the few days that we spent with him. He had the most amazing sense of humor and made us laugh every day. Thank you for the very special Chilli sauce. Bianca eats it on practically everything. To Bonnie and all the guides... Linda, Lucy, Michelle, Cherry, Victor and Jakob... thank you for making this one of the most memorable trips that we have ever done. Also big thank you to all the very proficient drivers for keeping us safe on the 'wild' Chinese roads. China is an amazingly beautiful and vibrant country to visit. Just one suggestion: On the itinerary mention all the optional shows that one can attend in different cities and suggest booking before you go. We were unable to go to the show in Shanghai as it was a weekend and fully booked by the time we asked our guide.

After days of walking around visiting different places in China we came to Guilin. It is such a picturesque town! Top China Travel lived up to its name-their arrangement was really top class! Raylene at TopChina was wonderful-right from chalking out our entire itinerary, making changes as we wanted, booking flights/trains/hotels/transport...everything was smooth as the famed china silk! Our guide in Guilin was well informed & friendly & we had a very relaxing day on the Li river cruise. The scenery is amazing, the food on the boat is pretty good & we spent the afternoon strolling around Yangshuo. Very happy with all the arrangements!

I would highly recommend TCT to anyone. We did a 2 week private (Beijing, Xian, Lhasa, Chengdu & Shanghai) tour with them and from the moment we arrived we felt like we were part of the family. Every guide was attentive, informative and an absolute pleasant to travel with. Special thanks to Rebecca for organising our itinerary and also a special mention to Tony, our guide in Beijing.

Top China Travel is the the tops! I booked an 21 day tour of China for my husband and I and from the very first contact with Lily Lui I was totally impressed. We communicated via e-mail and Lily was very quick and helpful with her responses. Because this was not our first trip to China, I wanted an itinerary that was different from the norm. Lily's recommendations were top notch. The hotels she used were top shelf as we requested. Our guides and drivers were fantastic. What impressed me the most was that when we were in China, Lily called to speak to me and make sure everything was going well. When I ran into some issues due to altitude sickness, I contacted her and she had the itinerary changes done and finalized within an hour. This was a private tour with guide and driver and I honestly can say there was not one thing I wished we had done differently. Thanks to Top China Travel and Lily our trip to China was perfect. I will definitely be contacting Lily when we return to China for yet another visit.

From my first contact with our tour operator Janet, I felt very comfortable that she would organise a great trip for us. She was very clear, professional and helpful in our correspondence. We visited Beijing, Pinghao, Xian, Guilin and Shangai and everything was organised in the most perfect way! Also the guides we had along our trip were very good, helpful and flexilble and they all spoke English very well (sometimes a problem in Asia). I highly recommendvTop China Travel and Janet. My wife (34) and I (35) took a 13-day trip to China during the last two weeks of May organized by Top China Travel. Our tour organizer was Janet Chan with whom we had a very excellent experience. The arrangements were flawless. We did not join a group, all the arrangements were made only for the two of us. We had a guide, a driver and a sedan car in each city. All the internal flights, cruise and train tickets, and any other ground transportation was arranged by TCT. We visited Beijing, Xian, Guilin-Yangshuo, Chongxing-Yangtze River Cruise, and Shanghai. I won't talk too much about the cities since there is plenty of information in the internet. I just can tell that China is amazing. My top favorite sites/monuments/attractions were: The Great Wall (Mutianyu section), Terracotta Warriors, bicycle ride in Yangshuo, bicycle ride in Xian City Wall, cooking lesson in Yangshuo, shopping at Tianzifang and Old Town market in Shanghai and the food EVERYWHERE. The hotel selection by TCT was good, however, depending on needs and tastes, I would recommend to discuss and agree with TCT on specific hotels after doing a little research. Reasons: breakfast selection might not be suitable for everybody (chinese breakfast is very different from occidental breakfast), some hotels might not enforce non-smoking policies hard enough (Novotel Peace in Beijing for example). The Yangtze River cruise was a really nice experience, the landscapes are unique. It's something worth seeing. We took the President #8 Ship, the rooms are clean and comfortable, however, the entertainment activities on board are limited. Overall experience in China was excellent and I definitely recommend Top China Travel as the agency of choice.

If you want experience the China that the Chinese see, and have it done with care and efficiency, by all means use Top China Travel for courteous on the spot and on time connections for the trip of your life. The staff supplied an English interpreter so that the trip was enjoyed by all English speaking participants. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip at all.
