Day 1Arrival Shanghai

Overnight: In Shanghai

Upon arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport (PVG), Shanghai local guide will meet you at the exit with TCT signboard. We will transfer you to check in hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the time. You could choose to walk around in the city by yourself or have a rest in the hotel to get over the jet lag.

Day 2Shanghai

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Overnight: In Shanghai

The local guide meet you at the hotel lobby at the appointed time. We will start to explore the largest and most modern city in China. The tour starts by visiting to Jade Buddha Temple, which is famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, which is said to weigh 1,000 kg.Then visit the exterior of Oriental Pearl TV Tower, while walking on Riverside Promenade Bingjiang Da Dao.  Lunch will be arranged at local restaurant, where you could try local special food, such as Dim Sum, Steamed Bun.

In the afternoon, we will explore Yuyuan Garden, a classic garden in downtown. Then free time to walk around Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road. Before, transfer back to hotel, we will have a leisure walk along the Bund  which is famous for groups of buildings known as a Gallery of world architecture.

Tour finishes at about 17:00-17:30 with drop-off at your hotel lobby. You could ask for some suggestion from the local guide about night shows and evening entertainments in Shanghai.

Day 3Shanghai Beijing

Overnight: In Beijing

Pick up from hotel at about 09:00a.m. and transfer to Shanghai Hongqiao Train Station to take the high speed train for Beijing. The high speed train is nowadays the most modern and fast train in China. One leg of high speed train trip is recommended as a different experience. When you arrive at Beijing Railway Station, TCT guide has already waited for you at the exit with a TCT signboard. Leisure time is on your own arrangment. You could walk around by yourself after asking for some suggestion from our local guide, such as walk along Wangfujing Avenu and have a dinner at the local restaurnt nearby. Or you choose to have rest at hotel to prepare for more exciting tours in Beijing.

Note: There is a dinning car in the middle of the train. You could choose to have some Chinese food as lunch. You can also prepare some food by yourself, such as bread, biscuit, instant noodle, fruit as your lunch, as many Chinese passengers do. Boiled water is offered free at the water tank between two carriage.

Day 4Beijing

Overnight: In Beijing

Today we will have a classic Beijing city tour to visit the wonders, like Forbidden city. morning pick up from hotel, then start the tour by a stop at Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, which witness the develpment of China. Then walk through the square and visit today’s highlight: Forbidden City , the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. We will spend almost the morning in the palace , where you could know the life of the emperors and royal families in the ancient dynasties. Then climb up the top of Coal Hill in  Jingshan Park, where gives a nice panoramic view of the Forbidden City.  In the afternoon, Visit Temple of Heaven, which was used to pray for harvest by the emperors. It is China's existing largest structure for sacrifice to heaven. Shopping time at Panjiayuan Antique Market and Pearl Market. The local speciality Peking duck dinner can not be missed. So ask for restaurant information from the local guide, who'd love to help you.

Day 5Beijing

Overnight: In Beijing

The most exciting thing is to visit the Great Wall when one travels to Beijing. You may need to departs from hotel a bit earlier to avoid the congested traffic in Beijing downtown. Pick up from hotel and drive directly to Mutianyu Great Wall, which section is more popular among foreign visitors. Upon arrival, you can choose to hike on the Great Wall, or take cable car up and walk around. After lunch at a restaurnat at foot of Great Wall, drive back to Beijing city. A visit the exterior Bird Nest and Water Cube, the amazing architectures that built for Beijing Olympic Games. After that you will experience Chinese tea at tea house. Then drive back to hote. Een route you can plan for the night activities, such as foot massage, Kungfu Show, houhai night bars and Sanlitun bar street.

Day 6Beijing Xi'an

After a leiusre breakfast this morning and check out. Before starting for Xian, we wil Drive to Drum Tower area for taking a relaxing Hutong Tour by rickshaw , which is the way to know the Beijing local lifestyle. Then visit Summer Palace before lunch. Summer Palace is the currently exsiting largest and best preserved imperian garden in China. You could choose to take a boat ride on Kunming Lake.  After lunch, be transferred to the airport for the 2 hours flight to Xi'an. Your Xi'an tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.

Today Xi'an highlights tour is waiting for yo total. Service starts by picking up from your hotel. Drive for 1~1.5 hours to Terracotta Warriors ,one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus is included for your convenience. We will have a lunch at a good restaurant on the way back to Xi'an city. Visit the Ancient Xi'an City Wall in the afternoon. It represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Bicycle or sightseeing car will be arranged on the wall to go around. Continue to visit Muslim Quarter and enjoy your shopping time there. Tang Dynasty Show with dinner is recommended to make you an exciting night.

Day 8Xi'an Lhasa

Overnight: In Lhasa

After breakfast, be transferred to the airport for morning flight to Lhasa. Your Tibet tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.Relax and have a good rest at your hotel to acclimatize when you arrive. In the afternoon, you might walk around to get first impression of Tibet. Have a good rest at night and get ready for tomorrow's tour.

Overnight: In Lhasa

A full day to explore this holy city. We will visit Potala Palace, the largest monastery of its type in the world and official home to Dalai Lama. Walk around the Potala PalaceClockwise to appreciate those who worship every day and also experience the life of local residents. After that, we will arrange a visit to the opposite hill in order to get a panoramic picture of Potala Palace, which is the best photo spot. In the afternoon, take a tour to Jokhang Monastery, where monks receive their official training and education. Shopping time at Barkhor Street, a window into Tibetan culture and an opportunity to buy colorful ethnic handicrafts rarely seen outside of Tibet. If you are interested in any night show, such as Tibetan singing and dancing show, you could discuss with the local guide.

Tips: When you enter into a temple or monastery in Tibet, please take off your hats at the entrance to show your respects and follow the clockwise direction for visiting. No smoking, do not touch the Buddha statues, turn the Buddhism scriptures or toll the bell.

Today's Lhasa tour starts by the visit to Drepung Monastery, which is one of the three great monasteries in Tibet. Then continue your tour to Norbulingka Park, a traditional summer palace and residence starting with the 7th Dalai Lama. Lunch will be arranged at Tibetan Family Kitchen for local food, especially for the Yak meat dumplings. In the afternoon, you will have chance to see a monks detating in the shady courtyard of Sera Monastery
The tour ends by transferring back to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 11Lhasa Kathmandu

You have to say goodbye to Tibet, China and fly to your next destination---Nepal on the southern foot of the Himalayas. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. It takes about 1.5 hours to fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu. The local guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to check in hotel. After check in, you could have a rest. In the afternoon, our local guide will show you to visit  Boudhanath Temple, the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet, where you could see the largest stupa in Nepal. Then have a leisure time shopping around Thamel, a tourist district of Kathmandu. Thamel bustles with activity late into the late evening. It is a mere 10-minute walk from the center of Kathmandu, yet completely different from the rest of the city

Day 12Kathmandu Nagarkot

After hotel breakfast, drive for 5 km southeast ward from Kathmandu to Patan, known as the city of fine arts. Patan is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. The diversity of the medieval culture that allowed both Hinduism and Buddhism to flourish has left a rich legacy of impressive sightseeing here for today's visitors, such as Patan Durbar Square-The old palace of the medieval rulers of Patan, Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Mahaboudha, Patan Industrial Estate, known for handicrafts such as wood carvings, metalcraft, handwoven woolen carpets and thanka paintings. There is a shopping arcade where handicrafts are on exhibition.

In the afternoon, drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom, one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Then visit the best places in Bhaktapur, like The Lion Gate-Dating ,The Golden Gate, The Palace of Fifty-five Windows, The Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Batsala Devi Temple,ect.

In the late afternoon, take a short drive of about 20 minutes to Nagarkot, one of the nearest and most famous Mountain View point from Kathmandu. Enjoy the sunset over the Himalayas. The panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest-if weather permits), can be seen from here). The Himalayan peaks Like Manaslu (8463 in). Ganesh Hinial (7111 in), Langtang(7246 in), Choba Bhanre(60l6 in), Gaurishanker (7134 m) and number (6957 in), are also clearly seen from Nagarkot). Day 13Nagarkot Kathmandu

Early morning enjoy sunrise and Mountain View. You can choose to go to View tower which is just in 30 minutes walking distance one way [3km]. From here you can see more area including Mountains [altitude 2175m].

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, Have a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal. Guheswari Temple, a historic and holy temple of Guheswari. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple courtyard, as well as Swayambhunath temple, the oldest Buddhist shrine. Looking east from here, one can see the almost entire Kathmandu valley spread out below. Kathmandu Durbar Square or Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the then Kathmandu Kingdom. The Square teems with life as vendor’s children tourists and other crowed around the temple of the Living Goddess Kumari.

Finally, visit Kasthamandup, a temple built from a single tree from which the Kathmandu derives its name. And then transfer to Hotel. If you would like to explore Kathmandu more, you could choose to visit the nearby local markets on your own or visit Thamel. a tourist district of Kathmandu. Thamel bustles with activity late into the late evening. It is a mere 10-minute walk from the center of Kathmandu, yet completely different from the rest of the city.

Free at leisure before transfer to airport to catch your homebound flight or flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our local guide and transferred to Hotel and have a good rest.

After a leisure breakfast, we will proceed for Delhi city tour, Old Delhi was developed by Delhi Mughal Emperors and here we will visit Jama Masijid, one of the largest mosques in India. We will also visit Red Fort, the famous Chandni Chowk and Khari Baoli Spice Market.

After lunch we will Raj Ghat, the memorial that marks the spot of Gandhi's cremation in 1948 and then proceed towards Southern Delhi which is rated as the most posh areas not just in Delhi, but whole India. Here we will visit Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb, which are both UNESCO world heritages sites and are a fine example of Mughal & Islamic architecture of Delhi. Meanwhile Raj Ghat is the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi.

By Evening, before reaching back to our hotel we will visit India Gate, a memorial build to remember Indian Solders form every India state who have given their livers for this great nation. By dinner time we will reach back to the hotel.

Today, we will drive for 3-4 hours to Agra by expressway after a leisure breakfast at hotel. By lunch time we will check-in at a reserved hotel in Agra and we will visit Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful lush green garden at Red Fort Agra. We return to hotel by night.

Overnight: In Jaipur

Today we will finally visit Taj Mahal to take a guide tour from inside(Battery bus ride is included). Built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in 1630 AD for his love Queen Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal has a majestic power to attract everyone who visit’s India for the first time. After this, we will go back to hotel for breakfast after which we head towards Agra Fort. Your guide will share the history of the fort. After lunch we will move towards Jaipur and visit to Fatehpur Sikri on the way. By night we will reach Jaipur and check in the reserved Hotel.

After breakfast at hotel we will proceed towards Amber Fort (Elephant ride is optional)which was once the Capital of Rajasthan. Then we will visit the Jal Mahal situated in the Man Sagar Lake.

In the afternoon we can visit the Maharaja’s City Palace and then later to the Jantar Mantar which was built by Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh. Before going back to the hotel we will visit the Hawa Mahal. It was built for the royal ladies to see the processions in the street without being seen.

Day 11Lhasa Kathmandu

You have to say goodbye to Tibet, China and fly to your next destination---Nepal on the southern foot of the Himalayas. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. It takes about 1.5 hours to fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu. The local guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to check in hotel. After check in, you could have a rest. In the afternoon, our local guide will show you to visit  Boudhanath Temple, the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet, where you could see the largest stupa in Nepal. Then have a leisure time shopping around Thamel, a tourist district of Kathmandu. Thamel bustles with activity late into the late evening. It is a mere 10-minute walk from the center of Kathmandu, yet completely different from the rest of the city

Day 12Kathmandu Nagarkot

Overnight: In Kathmandu

After hotel breakfast, drive for 5 km southeast ward from Kathmandu to Patan, known as the city of fine arts. Patan is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. The diversity of the medieval culture that allowed both Hinduism and Buddhism to flourish has left a rich legacy of impressive sightseeing here for today's visitors, such as Patan Durbar Square-The old palace of the medieval rulers of Patan, Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Mahaboudha, Patan Industrial Estate, known for handicrafts such as wood carvings, metalcraft, handwoven woolen carpets and thanka paintings. There is a shopping arcade where handicrafts are on exhibition.

In the afternoon, drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom, one of three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Then visit the best places in Bhaktapur, like The Lion Gate-Dating ,The Golden Gate, The Palace of Fifty-five Windows, The Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, Batsala Devi Temple,ect.

In the late afternoon, take a short drive of about 20 minutes to Nagarkot, one of the nearest and most famous Mountain View point from Kathmandu. Enjoy the sunset over the Himalayas. The panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest-if weather permits), can be seen from here). The Himalayan peaks Like Manaslu (8463 in). Ganesh Hinial (7111 in), Langtang(7246 in), Choba Bhanre(60l6 in), Gaurishanker (7134 m) and number (6957 in), are also clearly seen from Nagarkot). After check in enjoy sunset and walking around hotel.

Day 13Nagarkot Kathmandu

Overnight: In Kathmandu

Early morning enjoy sunrise and Mountain View. You can choose to go to View tower which is just in 30 minutes walking distance one way [3km]. From here you can see more area including Mountains [altitude 2175m].

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, Have a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal. Guheswari Temple, a historic and holy temple of Guheswari. Only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple courtyard, as well as Swayambhunath temple, the oldest Buddhist shrine. Looking east from here, one can see the almost entire Kathmandu valley spread out below. Kathmandu Durbar Square or Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the old royal palace of the then Kathmandu Kingdom. The Square teems with life as vendor’s children tourists and other crowed around the temple of the Living Goddess Kumari.

Finally, visit Kasthamandup, a temple built from a single tree from which the Kathmandu derives its name. And then transfer to Hotel. If you would like to explore Kathmandu more, you could choose to visit the nearby local markets on your own or visit Thamel. a tourist district of Kathmandu. Thamel bustles with activity late into the late evening. It is a mere 10-minute walk from the center of Kathmandu, yet completely different from the rest of the city.

Day 14Departure KathmanduDelhi

Overnight: In Delhi

Free at leisure before transfer to airport to catch your homebound flight or flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by our local guide and transferred to Hotel and have a good rest.

Day 15Delhi

Overnight: In Delhi

After a leisure breakfast, we will proceed for Delhi city tour, Old Delhi was developed by Delhi Mughal Emperors and here we will visit Jama Masijid, one of the largest mosques in India. We will also visit Red Fort, the famous Chandni Chowk and Khari Baoli Spice Market.

After lunch we will Raj Ghat, the memorial that marks the spot of Gandhi's cremation in 1948 and then proceed towards Southern Delhi which is rated as the most posh areas not just in Delhi, but whole India. Here we will visit Qutab Minar and Humayun's Tomb, which are both UNESCO world heritages sites and are a fine example of Mughal & Islamic architecture of Delhi. Meanwhile Raj Ghat is the resting place of Mahatma Gandhi.

By Evening, before reaching back to our hotel we will visit India Gate, a memorial build to remember Indian Solders form every India state who have given their livers for this great nation. By dinner time we will reach back to the hotel.

Day 16DelhiAgra

Meals: Breakfast
Overnight: In Agra

Today, we will drive for 3-4 hours to Agra by expressway after a leisure breakfast at hotel. By lunch time we will check-in at a reserved hotel in Agra and we will visit Mehtab Bagh, a beautiful lush green garden at Red Fort Agra. We return to hotel by night.

Day 17AgraJaipur

Overnight: In Jaipur

Today we will finally visit Taj Mahal to take a guide tour from inside(Battery bus ride is included). Built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in 1630 AD for his love Queen Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal has a majestic power to attract everyone who visit’s India for the first time. After this, we will go back to hotel for breakfast after which we head towards Agra Fort. Your guide will share the history of the fort. After lunch we will move towards Jaipur and visit to Fatehpur Sikri on the way. By night we will reach Jaipur and check in the reserved Hotel.

Day 18Jaipur

Overnight: In Jaipur

After breakfast at hotel we will proceed towards Amber Fort (Elephant ride is optional)which was once the Capital of Rajasthan. Then we will visit the Jal Mahal situated in the Man Sagar Lake.

In the afternoon we can visit the Maharaja’s City Palace and then later to the Jantar Mantar which was built by Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh. Before going back to the hotel we will visit the Hawa Mahal. It was built for the royal ladies to see the processions in the street without being seen.

After breakfast we will make a 5 hour ride back to New Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi, check in the hotel and free for the rest time.
