How to travel to Fenghuang from Zhangjiajie by bus? Bus is the most convenient way to get to Fenghuang from Zhangjiajie, although it is not as cheaper as train. It will need about 4 hours by bus. There are several buses every day from Zhangjiajie Bus Terminal in the downtown and Wulingyuan Bus Terminal respectively.

How to travel to Fenghuang from Zhangjiajie by train? There isn’t any direct train from Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang Ancient Town. If you want to take train, you have to take train from Zhangjiajie to Jishou(吉首) frist, from which you will need to take a bus to Fenghuang Ancient Town. Then tourists could take the bus at Jishou to Fenghuang Ancient Town at about CNY15 per person per way. It is not easy for tourists who have language barriers. Besides, the bus's condition is also not very good. Therefore, we do not recommend clients to take this way.
